Ever since the betrothal, the Cheng household had become lively. Ling Buyi stationed guards around the front and back courtyards to patrol day and night, under the pretense of protection. Because Ling Buyi treated everyone equally, Cheng Shaoshang could not avoid the training. She had to hold ceramic basins in both hands while keeping her head still.
