Having found Su Xieyi, Li Zeliang rushed to embrace her, holding her close under the moonlight and promising to take her home. Tears filled their eyes as they gazed at each other, sharing a deep kiss in the rain. Upon their return to Li Zeliang's home, they found Shen Xieqing in bed with a fever. Li Zeliang explained that for her safety, he had temporarily settled her there, reassuring Su Xieyi that she would recover after some rest.
Su Xieyi apologized to Li Zeliang for the suffering he endured, but he confessed he had always suspected she had hidden reasons for her actions. Knowing they were fighting for the same goal gave him courage. Su Xieyi then revealed her struggle: Xie Minghao had imprisoned her sister and used her as leverage, clarifying she never intended to harm Li Zeliang.
He acknowledged that Xie Minghao had tried to use an edited recording of her to threaten him, but he never fell for the manipulation and always believed in her. He vowed that now that they were reunited, they would never be separated again. The next morning, a lucid Shen Xieqing woke up and tearfully confessed everything to Su Xieyi. Under Xie Minghao's manipulation, she had emptied their company Zhiwei's assets by faking procurements, leaving no inventory in the warehouse.
This directly caused their father's inability to deliver goods to Ocean Hotel or pay liquidated damages, ultimately driving him to take his own life to protect her. Shen Xieqing then exposed Xie Minghao as the true "K of Spades," revealing he had orchestrated the downfall of Zhiwei through Huo Jian and had trapped her in his schemes, even using a fake pregnancy report to control her. Overcome with guilt, Shen Xieqing was ready to turn herself in.
Su Xieyi, devastated, lamented that her father, her home, and the sister she once knew were all gone. Just then, Xie Minghao arrived, pounding on the door. Li Zeliang had Su Xieyi hide with Shen Xieqing in the secret room before opening it. Xie Minghao demanded Li Zeliang hand over both sisters and tried to threaten him with the recording again. Li Zeliang coolly dismissed it as an edited fake.
When Xie Minghao tried to pin all the blame for Zhiwei's downfall on Shen Xieqing, Su Xieyi could no longer contain her anger. She emerged and fiercely accused Xie Minghao of destroying her family and driving her sister to madness. The next day at Ocean Hotel, Dai Ziang attempted to coerce the board of directors into renaming the company to "Zhengcai." As he pressed them to sign the resolution, Li Zeliang and Su Xieyi arrived. Li Zeliang declared that Xie Minghao’s threats were void and presented a video of journalist He Jianghua’s public confession. In the video, He Jianghua admitted to being instigated by Dai Ziang to discredit Ocean Hotel and cause the Lantian Bay fire.
Panicked, Dai Ziang fled back to his own company, Zhengde Group. As Dai Ziang began desperately selling his Ocean Hotel shares to save his own collapsing company, Li Zeliang instructed Oscar to have Zhengda Fund acquire all of them, thereby stabilizing Ocean Hotel's position and turning the tables on their adversaries.
