Tushan Honghong agreed to prepare for the grand event together with Dongfang Yuechu, Tushan Yaya, and Tushan Rongrong. Although the Fate Connecting Ceremony happens once every hundred years, it was Tushan Yaya's most hated day. Tushan Rongrong told him not to provoke her under any circumstances. It turned out that for hundreds of years, Tushan Yaya had never received a Feather Flower, which is why she hated this day.

Dongfang Yuechu's carefree presence in Tushan made Guo Guo extremely unhappy, and witnessing this scene made him intensely jealous. Dongfang Yuechu was collecting rent in the market, and became angry when he found Guo Guo following him. He asked him why he was following him, and Guo Guo repeatedly claimed that Tushan Honghong had sent him, and also mocked his human identity.

The centennial grand event is a rare occasion, so Tushan Honghong planned to take Dongfang Yuechu to see it. Everyone was very excited to see Tushan Honghong, but she subconsciously wanted to leave. Dongfang Yuechu took her to a secluded spot to watch the fireworks, and Tushan Honghong rarely showed a smile, saying she would keep today's joy in her heart.

Dongfang Yuechu asked if there had ever been love between humans and yao, Tushan Honghong said never, as humans and yao have different lifespans and cannot be together forever.

Hearing that Tushan Honghong and Dongfang Yuechu had gone to the grand event together, Tushan Rongrong worried that she might fall for Dongfang Yuechu and subtly reminded her that from the day she became the head of Tushan, Tushan Honghong would no longer fall for anyone, but could she truly control herself?

Dongfang Yuechu dreamed he had become an old man, and recalled Tushan Honghong's words, that even if they loved each other for a while, they could not be together for a lifetime. Dongfang Yuechu requested Tushan Honghong to accompany him to the grand event, but she had to enter the Heart of the Grief Tree and could not spare herself. When the elder was fast asleep, he was ambushed by Jin Renfeng.

Today is the fifteenth day of the month, and what he wanted to do was to attack Tushan. During Tushan's centennial Fate Connecting Ceremony, Tushan Honghong, as the head of Tushan, descended the Feather Flowers together with Tushan Rongrong and Tushan Yaya, and Dongfang Yuechu also carefully hid nearby, praying for a Feather Flower to descend. Tushan Honghong entered the Heart of the Grief Tree but was ambushed, the Feather Flowers disappeared, and no one received a Feather Flower.

Jin Renfeng disguised himself as a Tushan yao and entered, planning to kill Tushan Honghong and abduct Dongfang Yuechu during the chaos, and he wanted to kill all the other yao as well. Dongfang Yuechu discovered something was wrong through the elder's spirit butterfly, and quickly relayed the message to Tushan Rongrong and Tushan Yaya. Tushan Yaya and Dongfang Yuechu entered the Heart of the Grief Tree, and found Tushan Honghong trapped in a dream by a dream-catching net.

The injuries sustained in the dream were real and extremely dangerous. Dongfang Yuechu decided to enter the spiritual consciousness to rescue Tushan Honghong, and currently, only Tushan Yaya could protect Tushan. Dongfang Yuechu entered the dream amidst Tushan Yaya's numerous warnings. In the dream, Tushan Honghong met a man. The place was full of people from Yiqi Alliance, and he saved Tushan Honghong.

Dongfang Yuechu wanted to wake Tushan Honghong up countless times, but was always unable to touch her, and Tushan Honghong could not see him either. Dongfang Yuechu was forced to use his magic power to make Tushan Honghong aware of his presence, even though doing so would cause a backlash to himself. The two successfully left the dream.

Tushan Honghong appeared under the Grief Tree to pray for Feather Flowers for the yao race, and the heavily injured Dongfang Yuechu also reached out hoping a flower would land on his hand, but he did not receive a Feather Flower, so he thought he had not fallen for Tushan Honghong. Tushan Honghong used her yao power to heal Dongfang Yuechu, and soon he was fine.

Tushan Yaya discovered Jin Renfeng's whereabouts, and Tushan Honghong needed to guard the Grief Tree here, so she asked Dongfang Yuechu to help. Tushan Yaya and Dongfang Yuechu worked together to repel Jin Renfeng, but something happened to Tushan Honghong. There was a yao power drawing energy from the Grief Tree!
