The series is adapted from the comic Fox Spirit Matchmaker by Tuo Xiaoxin and tells the story of Wangquan Fugui, who was raised from a young age by the Yiqi Alliance as the ultimate weapon against demons. He meets Qing Tong, a spider demon sent as a spy into the Wangquan Manor. Her presence gradually changes Fugui's views on demons and opens his eyes to the broader world outside. Synopsis
