He Fanxing told her parents about her relationship with Yuan Song. She said that she had too many concerns back then, which was why she didn't tell her parents, and later, after they broke up, she felt there was no need to say anything. He's mother asked He Fanxing why she still liked Yuan Song but was with Ye Luming, and even let Ye Caiwei come to their home to visit.
He Fanxing felt a bit wronged, saying that ever since He's father got sick, she especially wanted to get married, wanting to put He's father's mind at ease. She also tried hard to like Ye Luming, but no matter what, she couldn't do it. Seeing that He Fanxing had figured things out, He's father didn't say anything more and went back to his room to rest.
He Canyang was still leaning by the door, eavesdropping on the movements inside the house. Cai Minmin had already arrived downstairs at He Canyang's home. He Canyang asked about Ye Luming's situation. Cai Minmin said she couldn't tell at all that Ye Luming was heartbroken, thinking that he hadn't truly fallen for He Fanxing. He Canyang, however, said that Cai Minmin was too young. Ye Luming was long past the age where he would be devastated by a breakup. He carried a heavy responsibility and could only silently digest his emotions.
In the evening, Yuan Song, Wu Meiyin, and Luo Wenyue were having dinner together. Wu Meiyin was intentionally or unintentionally trying to set up Yuan Song and Luo Wenyue. Yuan Song left the table after taking a phone call. Wu Meiyin took the opportunity to ask Luo Wenyue how she felt about Yuan Song. Although Luo Wenyue liked Yuan Song, she felt that he was still attached to He Fanxing, but Luo Wenyue really liked such challenging things.
He Fanxing told Yang Xiaoyu and Song Xue about her confession to her parents. Both of them greatly admired He Fanxing's courage. Yuan Song, however, said that Luo Wenyue was not his type. The two planned to go take photos of Suzhou's buildings later.
He Canyang sent Yuan Song's hotel address to He Fanxing. He Fanxing asked about her parents' reaction. Although He's father and He's mother felt that He Fanxing and Yuan Song were not suitable for each other, they still supported He Fanxing in doing what she wanted to do. After reading He's father's message, He Fanxing completely relaxed. He Fanxing checked into the same hotel where Yuan Song was staying.
Looking at the photos of Yuan Song and Luo Wenyue, she felt a bit jealous. In the evening, while Yuan Song and Luo Wenyue were taking a walk, He Fanxing pretended to coincidentally meet them. In the first confrontation, He Fanxing was defeated. He Fanxing was talking to Song Xue about seeing Yuan Song today in the hotel. He Fanxing suddenly felt a bit regretful, feeling that she was too blindly confident.
He Fanxing still wanted to try to win Yuan Song back. Song Xue and Yang Xiaoyu also decided to learn from He Fanxing and deal with their own matters as soon as possible. While they were chatting, a hotel staff member came to deliver some refreshments to Yuan Song's room. Yuan Song thought it was He Fanxing and was a bit disappointed.
As soon as he closed the door, He Fanxing sent Yuan Song a message, asking him to come to the courtyard. When Yuan Song met He Fanxing, he deliberately said that he had just been drinking in the room with Luo Wenyue. He Fanxing was a bit jealous and asked Yuan Song what he meant by being so cold to her. Yuan Song, however, asked He Fanxing what she meant by chasing him all the way to Suzhou.
He Fanxing stubbornly said that she was just here for tourism and happened to come ask Yuan Song what she had said to him while she was drunk. Yuan Song asked He Fanxing in return if she could be responsible for the drunken words she said. He Fanxing told him to tell her, and she would definitely do it as long as it was something she could do. Yuan Song said that He Fanxing had proposed to him.
He Fanxing, however, didn't believe him, thinking that she wouldn't say such nonsense even if she were dead drunk. Yuan Song invited He Fanxing to go play by the lake together tomorrow, and He Fanxing agreed. The next day, while the three of them were touring the lake and having lunch, Luo Wenyue kept deliberately provoking He Fanxing.
After Luo Wenyue and Yuan Song went to attend the lecture, He Fanxing went to the hot springs and didn't receive a call from Yuan Song. Yuan Song thought He Fanxing had had an accident and returned to the hotel early. He only relaxed after seeing that she was alright. He Fanxing followed Yuan Song into the room, saying she had something to tell him.
He Fanxing said that she had already broken up with Ye Luming and asked what Yuan Song's answer was to her proposal last night. Yuan Song, however, said it was not possible, stating that if they were to get back together, they had to make their relationship public. He Fanxing quickly explained that she had already confessed to her parents and would not back down again. Yuan Song, however, still didn't agree to He Fanxing's request to get back together, saying that he needed to think about it.
