She regretted not buying more of Yang Junxiong's stocks. Just then, Tu Wenno arrived at the company and jokingly reminded Qiong not to borrow money to buy stocks. He then held a board meeting, reprimanding board members for profiting from the radiation sand incident and giving them a warning to continue investing in Limin. Feifei decrypted the contents of the backup on the USB drive and discovered that the radiation sand files had been consistently modified by the same person. In reality, the report had no issues. Wei Xiaochen, puzzled, analyzed with Feifei and concluded that Tu Wenno probably wanted to force his father to step down and become the chairman himself. They considered Tu Wenno a key suspect in the murder of Liang Xi.
Yuan Shengjie had a female subordinate track Wei Tingzhao, but Wei Tingzhao noticed and got rid of her before meeting Tu Wenno. However, Feifei informed her that there had been no sound since Tu Wenno entered the office. Wei Xiaochen thought the bug might be faulty, but in reality, Tu Wenno had already installed surveillance, monitoring Wei Xiaochen's every move. This day, Wei Xiaochen encountered Tu Wenno in the company, and Tu Wenno, with hidden meaning in his words, reminded her not to associate with the wrong person. Wei Xiaochen realized that Tu Wenno had already seen through her. After carefully recalling, she remembered an anomaly with the light in Tu Wenno's office, confirming it was a monitor. While pondering how to handle the situation, Yang Junxiong sent someone to bring her for a meeting.
Learning that Wei Xiaochen had made no progress lately, Yang Junxiong reminded her not to think that getting close to Tu Wenno would solve everything. He mentioned saving her father in the past and revealed that Liang Xi used to work at a mysterious nightclub. If it weren't for him, her father would have died due to lack of money for treatment. Wei Xiaochen expressed loyalty to Yang Junxiong, and upon returning to Limin, she voluntarily surrendered to Tu Wenno, pretending to work for Yang Junxiong but actually assisting Tu Wenno. Tu Wenno appreciated Wei Xiaochen's strategy and immediately gave her a USB drive with information. Wei Xiaochen aimed to infiltrate Yang Junxiong's personal computer, and Feifei tampered with the USB drive. When Yang Junxiong inserted the USB drive into his computer, Feifei successfully infiltrated it, but unfortunately, Yang Junxiong's computer contained only some abusive videos, not what Wei Xiaochen expected.
While organizing files, Yuan Shengjie saw a photo of himself with Liang Xi on the table. He reminisced about their love and a time when he was late for a date, leading to Liang Xi getting angry. Later, they made croissants together, and things got better. They even left behind a precious photo. Feeling sentimental, he went to the bakery and made croissants to give to Wei Xiaochen. Thinking her father was having delusions, she comforted him, planning to tell Yuan Shengjie about it. However, her father sneaked into the director's office at night and took a photo of an ID card. Wei Xiaochen persuaded the director to let her father stay in the nursing home, but she became suspicious. She had Feifei recover the files from her phone, and indeed, she found the ID card photo her father mentioned, making her take it seriously.
