Yuan Shengjie presented evidence that left Pan Guodong worried and scared. However, Pan Guodong still held a glimmer of hope and refused to confess. Little did he know, Yuan Shengjie managed to extract information about Brittany's murder from him and provided evidence that showed Pan Guodong handed compensation to Zhu Decheng for his grandfather, Zhu Henghui. Pan Guodong claimed the 500,000 yuan was an inheritance left by Zhu Henghui, but the check had his signature on it, leaving him no room for further denial. Yuan Shengjie also presented text messages sent by Pan Guodong to Brittany, proving his dissatisfaction with the unequal distribution of the gains. Pan Guodong admitted to his money laundering using the elderly people's identities but denied involvement in organ trafficking. As it turns out, the elderly residents of the nursing home either died of illness or old age. To continue using their accounts and taking commissions, Pan Guodong disposed of their bodies by sending them to a pet hospital for cremation. If the body was too large, he would freeze it before cutting it up and then scatter the ashes into the sea. Her scream caught everyone's attention, and Yang Junjie saw that his daughter had been terrified. He immediately called the police in a fit of anger. Upon discovering that someone was targeting the Green World, Yuan Shengjie, at Yang Junjie's request, went to obtain Tu Wenya's statement. However, he found Tu Wenya in a coma, presumably from consuming poisonous mushrooms. Yuan Shengjie rushed her to the hospital and informed Wei Xiaochen. Wei Xiaochen requested Yuan Shengjie to let her visit Tu Wenya's home. Based on the scene that day, they deduced that someone intentionally lured Tu Wenya away while another person placed the poisonous mushrooms in her pot. The most suspicious individual was probably Carter, who was close to Yang Junxiong.
After waking up in the hospital, Tu Wenya confessed to intimidating Yang Junjie's daughter, Rong Rong, but both Yuan Shengjie and Wei Xiaochen knew her health condition and believed she couldn't have approached Yang Junjie's home without getting severely ill. It was implausible that she could have placed a bloodied white pigeon in Yang Junjie's kitchen. Tu Wenno was devastated when he learned of Tu Wenya's confession, feeling both anxious and heartbroken. He was determined not to let Yang Junxiong get away with this. Wei Tingzhao knew about Jin Jie's existence and was concerned that Jin Jie might blame Tu Wenno. He advised Tu Wenno to stay calm, but Tu Wenno couldn't bear it any longer. Wei Tingzhao volunteered to deal with the matter, considering Tu Wenya as his sister.
Wei Xiaochen, upon learning from Yuan Shengjie that Tu Wenya repeatedly drank water while giving her statement and kept repeating "she did it," suspected that Tu Wenya might have been drugged with anticholinergic drugs. As a result, she might not have been aware of someone talking to her, leading her to accept the charges in a confused state. Yuan Shengjie believed Wei Xiaochen's reasoning had merit and requested a blood test from Dr. Gao. Initially, Dr. Gao thought he had successfully injected anticholinergic drugs into Tu Wenya without anyone noticing and was secretly pleased. However, when he received Yuan Shengjie's request, he reluctantly agreed. After Yuan Shengjie left, Dr. Gao immediately called Yang Junxiong, assuring him that the money had already been transferred to his overseas account. When he learned that a blood test was needed, Yang Junxiong cautioned Dr. Gao not to fake the results, as he feared his medical license might be revoked.
To force Yang Junjie to step down, Yang Junxiong drugged Yang Junjie's drink, causing him to become extremely irritable, unlike his usual self. He hired a large number of bodyguards to surround his house and restricted his daughter Rong Rong from going outside. Even when his wife received a package, he insisted on inspecting it personally, causing paranoia. Rong Rong's violin teacher was required to conduct lessons at home, and when everyone relaxed, Rong Rong noticed that the violin case contained a dog's corpse, which terrified her even further. Yang Junjie's behavior became increasingly erratic, as he threw away many of Rong Rong's toys and no longer behaved like a normal person. Carter secretly captured Yang Junjie's frenzied actions, which were eventually noticed by Ah Xi and Ah Min.
At the press conference for the launch of a new project, Yang Junjie, accused of intermittent explosive disorder and further provoked by a secretly recorded video by Carter, caused chaos on the scene. The board dismissed Yang Junjie, and Yang Junxiong successfully took over. Dr. Gao, feeling guilty, wrote a confession letter and committed suicide. Through a review of surveillance footage, Wei Xiaochen identified Carter and realized that this matter was closely related to Yang Junxiong.
