Yang Junxiong claimed that Liang Xi was Madam Jin, leaving Tu Wennuo in shock. Yang Junxiong, having witnessed Wei Xiaochen's tears while holding Ma Jiaming's body, already knew she was an undercover agent. He had been pursued by Sister Mag's men back then, and it was Wei Xiaochen who halted them. This further confirmed Liang Xi's identity. Back when Liang Xi worked at Golf 19, she once served Yang Junxiong. Sister Mag happened to enter and, upon seeing Liang Xi, casually referred to her as "Madam Jin." Although Yang Junxiong was somewhat intoxicated, he hadn't yet fallen asleep and heard Sister Mag's words. Wei Xiaochen was deeply shocked. She attempted to explain that Yang Junxiong had misinterpreted things due to his belief that she and Tu Wennuo had a romantic involvement. However, Yang Junxiong presented a video of her crying over Ma Jiaming's body, making Wei Xiaochen suffer. She was left in a state of anger and frustration but couldn't bring herself to kill Yang Junxiong. Tu Wennuo, realizing that Wei Xiaochen had been keeping many things from him, shot Yang Junxiong and wanted Wei Xiaochen to explain.
Wei Xiaochen managed to capture Jia Hao'ai before he could board a ship to settle scores for the murder of Liang Xi's father and the heart transplant that saved his life. Jia Hao'ai admitted to killing Liang Xi's father but adamantly denied conducting any surgery on Tu Wennuo. Despite Wei Xiaochen's repeated questioning, Jia Hao'ai refused to confess. In a moment of desperation, Jia Hao'ai pulled a small knife from his chest and tried to stab Wei Xiaochen. Fortunately, Yuan Shengjie and the police arrived in the nick of time. Someone shot and killed Jia Hao'ai, and Wei Xiaochen remained unharmed.
Wei Xiaochen revealed to Tu Wennuo that she had been a special agent in Singapore. Her younger sister, Liang Xi, had her heart harvested and sent to Hong Kong for investigation. Subsequently, her father was murdered, and Wei Xiaochen was left alone. She clarified that she was no longer a special agent and had become someone driven by money. Tu Wennuo was initially skeptical that Wei Xiaochen would give up her pursuit after obtaining so many leads. He challenged her to prove her sincerity by going after Yuan Shengjie. Soon, Yuan Shengjie was reported for money laundering with concrete evidence, leading to his suspension. He was reassured by the authorities that it was merely a vacation. After leaving the police station, he was shadowed by investigators from the Commercial Investigation Division and Weiting Zhao's people. Yuan Shengjie proceeded to Wei Xiaochen as planned.
The next day, Wei Tingzhao informed Tu Wennuo about Yuan Shengjie visiting Wei Xiaochen. Subsequently, Wei Xiaochen decided to confess the truth to Tu Wennuo. To provide evidence of Yuan Shengjie's money laundering, she acted in front of Tu Wennuo and performed another scripted encounter with Yuan Shengjie. She also supplied proof confirming that Yuan Shengjie indeed was involved in money laundering. Wei Tingzhao had no option but to keep quiet. Despite the deceit, Yuan Shengjie had already investigated Jia Hao'ai's whereabouts from a year ago and was convinced that Jia Hao'ai had been in Hong Kong. He believed that Tu Wennuo might not have actually performed the surgery. Wei Xiaochen, however, was convinced that Tu Wennuo was truthful in this matter. Yuan Shengjie knew many things about Liang Xi but was still unaware that the woman before him was not Liang Xi. He hoped Wei Xiaochen would trust him and confide in him someday. However, Wei Xiaochen had her reasons and promised to reveal everything eventually.
The evidence of Yuan Shengjie's illegal activities had been fabricated by Feifei, making him feel more valuable. One day, Yuan Shengjie and Wei Xiaochen paid respects at Liang Tianqi's tomb. They mentioned that Liang Tianqi seemed to have known that Wei Xiaochen wasn't Liang Xi but had kept this a secret. Yuan Shengjie believed that Liang Tianqi, with Liang Xi's multiple identities, may have had some suspicions. Wei Xiaochen thought of Liang Tianqi's phone and asked Feifei to investigate it. Feifei discovered an unusual number on Liang Tianqi's phone and called it with Wei Xiaochen's approval. However, there was no answer on the other end. During the call, Feifei had an accident and had a urinary incontinence issue. Yuan Shengjie noticed but chose not to say anything. Feifei quickly ushered Wei Xiaochen and Yuan Shengjie out and called An to handle the situation.
Yuan Shengjie, without his police ID, still conducted investigations at the company. He was subsequently reported by someone, and Kang, the senior official, came to scold him. This incident further solidified the belief that Yuan Shengjie had been suspended. Feifei had visited Golf 19 and gathered valuable information, but his current physical limitations prevented him from returning, which was frustrating. Wei Xiaochen suggested that Feifei could lead while Yuan Shengjie carried out the investigations. Together, they managed to breach Golf 19's servers and view surveillance footage of Yang Junxiong meeting with Sister Mag. They deduced that after Liang Xi's death, Yang Junxiong continued to conduct business under her identity. Yuan Shengjie was going to Golf 19 as planned, and Young Master Long had already anticipated his actions, quietly reporting to his superiors.
Suddenly, Yuan Shengjie faced accusations of another money laundering case with concrete evidence. He was scheduled for a hearing the next day, which could lead to a prison sentence. Concerned about Yuan Shengjie's predicament, Wei Xiaochen sought information from A Xi but couldn't make him divulge anything. Wei Xiaochen came up with a plan to approach Tu Wennuo, posing as a despondent person. She pretended to be intoxicated and went to Tu Wennuo's home, where she complained about her current state of having no family and inadvertently harming her friends. Tu Wennuo believed she was a woman standing by his side, and they shared an intimate night. Later, Wei Tingzhao sent the video of Wei Xiaochen and Tu Wennuo together to Yuan Shengjie, which was very difficult for him to accept.
