Tu Wennuo was brought there by Weitingzhao, and when he learned that Liang Xi was behind it, he was furious and wanted to kill her. Liang Xi had already taken Wei Xiaochen to the hospital, waiting for Tu Wennuo to kill Wei Xiaochen, so she could take over Wei Xiaochen's identity. They managed to escape without anyone chasing them because Liang Xi had a larger plan in mind. Wei Xiaochen realized how much Yuan Shengjie had done for her and decided to take the initiative to confront Liang Xi to find her weaknesses. Weitingzhao warned Liang Xi that Wei Xiaochen's request for a meeting had a hidden agenda and advised her not to take unnecessary risks. However, Liang Xi had her own plans and brought the evidence of Yang Junxiong and Mag's money laundering to them, with the intention of having them kill Wei Xiaochen, ensuring she would never resurface. Yang Junxiong learned that Liang Xi also wanted a share of the profits and believed that her appetite was too big. However, he didn't want to go to jail, so he accepted Liang Xi's conditions.
Weitingzhao met Tu Wennuo to discuss a business deal, asking for 6 billion to buy the evidence against Yang Junxiong and Mag. Tu Wennuo was coldly surprised by Weitingzhao's betrayal and inquired about the reason. He unexpectedly learned that Weitingzhao was concerned about Wei Xiaochen and saw her as a time bomb. Tu Wennuo met Wei Xiaochen and asked her to leave with him or help him kill Liang Xi. She declined both options. Together with Yuan Shengjie, they devised a plan. Wei Xiaochen handed over the video of Liang Xi attempting to murder Feifei to the police, ensuring Liang Xi's arrest, which would prevent her from escaping by assuming Wei Xiaochen's identity.
As Wei Xiaochen expected, Weitingzhao went to capture her, but she had already left the car. She was about to find a way to leave with the Boat King. Tu Wennuo approached Liang Xi, requesting her to kill Yang Junxiong. Still, he refused, as this would hinder their business with the drug lords. Liang Xi appreciated Tu Wennuo's discernment, and they reached an agreement: Wei Xiaochen would be exchanged for Weitingzhao. Weitingzhao ended up in Tu Wennuo's custody, and as he injected him with drugs, Weitingzhao felt a sense of satisfaction in Tu Wennuo's transformation. Despite his words of hatred, Tu Wennuo still cherished the bond they shared over the years, and as he watched Weitingzhao die before him, he almost shed a tear.
Wei Xiaochen and Yuan Shengjie went to meet the Boat King, but they were surrounded by Yang Junxiong, Mag, and Liang Xi. Holding hands tightly, Wei Xiaochen and Yuan Shengjie's connection made Liang Xi extremely jealous. Yang Junxiong intended to use Liang Xi to kill Wei Xiaochen.
