After analyzing the case, Wei Xiaochen, despite suspecting that Liang Xi's heart was transplanted into Tuo Wenno's body, deduced from Dickey and Tuo Wenno's reactions that neither of them knew about Liang Xi's murder. To find the real culprit, Wei Xiaochen had Feifei upload the backup from the USB drive online. Taking advantage of a restroom break, she distracted the policewoman who was watching them. While Feifei was focused on his task, Wei Xiaochen returned with the policewoman, pretending not to see Feifei. Feifei quickly shut down the computer and moved away, but the policewoman noticed Feifei was missing and contemplated whether to call for help. Feifei then stood up, holding his phone, claiming he had dropped it earlier.
Due to insufficient evidence, Yuan Shengjie couldn't arrest Dickey, so he had to let him go. Feifei was also free to leave, leaving only Wei Xiaochen behind. Knowing the reason why Yuan Shengjie left her, Wei Xiaochen instructed Feifei to continue what he was doing and stayed behind. Later, she and Yuan Shengjie went to the seaside to feel the breeze. Feifei exposed the news of radiation on the artificial island on the internet, along with Dickey's deeds. Soon, reporters focused on Limin. Tuo Wenno's father, as the chairman, couldn't escape blame and had to step down voluntarily. Tuo Wenno asked Weiting Zhao to handle the matter of the USB drive in the police station and went to find Wei Xiaochen. Convinced that Dickey wouldn't return, he asked Wei Xiaochen to take Limin's place and help him. Sensing danger from Tuo Wenno's words, Wei Xiaochen called Yuan Shengjie to warn him. Dickey's lawyer quickly arrived at the police station, requesting to talk to Dickey alone. After the conversation, Dickey willingly admitted to causing the tunnel explosion.
