Synopsis
Set in Mancheng, a city of contradictions also known as the "City of No Sin," the city appears peaceful on the surface, yet its accidental death rate is far higher than normal.
Behind this anomaly seems to be a mysterious force turning crimes into accidents. The story follows Zhuang Lan, a police captain. Her younger sister, Zhuang Qing, died under mysterious circumstances while investigating an organization known as "The Lighthouse."
To uncover the truth, Zhuang Lan forms an "Accident Investigation Team." Joining her is Cheng Mo, a criminal psychology expert with low-lying depression. Cheng Mo has a sharp ability to detect "environmental anomaly traces," making him the key to solving these "accidents."
Together, the two confront the Lighthouse organization, peeling back layers of fog to reveal twisted minds and hidden truths.
