Orchid quickly followed her, laughing and comforting her.

Orchid measured Dongfang Qingcang’s body herself, only to hear from him that war between the two tribes was imminent. Now, the Moon Tribe’s forces were no match for the Immortals, and Dongfang Qingcang had lost the Hellfire — they had no chance of victory. Lord Changheng had been pardoned by Lord Yunzhong and reinstated as God of War. War was just around the corner. Dongfang Qingcang hoped Orchid could escape safely.

She didn’t understand how she could be the Divine Maiden of Xishan, nor why becoming Dongfang Qingcang’s wife would conflict with saving the world. But the Black Tortoise didn’t answer. Orchid suddenly couldn’t tell what was real and what was not. But she knew that her love with Dongfang Qingcang was real. Orchid rushed back to Cangyan Sea but did not see Dongfang Qingcang — instead, she was imprisoned by Xun Feng in the flower room.

Thunder roared outside, and the food on the table was unappetizing. Everything felt terrible. But she suddenly thought, Dongfang Qingcang knew her likes and dislikes, so he would know what she hated — perhaps there was a secret hidden here. Thinking this, Orchid hurried to inspect the greasy food, but found nothing. Suddenly, Xun Feng arrived, destroyed the flower room without a word, and viciously threw the water orchid to the ground.
