Dongfang Qingcang pushed Orchid away in disgust, wiping his lips and spitting repeatedly. Orchid looked down at herself, then raised her head and glared angrily at Dongfang Qingcang. It turned out that because of a kiss, they had once again switched bodies. Dongfang Qingcang was both furious and anxious, so he turned and kissed Orchid again, but even after biting through his lip, it was no use. Apparently, switching bodies required not only a kiss but also lightning.

Yet at the moment, there was nothing but clear skies, with no sign of the earlier thunder and lightning. For Moon Supreme Dongfang Qingcang, creating lightning would normally be easy. But the difficult part was that he now had Orchid’s body and no access to his own magic. Orchid felt like she finally got her revenge and couldn’t help but mock Dongfang Qingcang. Furious, Dongfang Qingcang suddenly lunged forward and grabbed Orchid’s neck, threatening to kill her.

But just then, Shang Que appeared and pulled Orchid away. Thinking quickly, Orchid told Shang Que to lock Dongfang Qingcang up. Today happened to be the formal ceremony for Dongfang Qingcang to take over leadership of the Moon Tribe, and the ministers were already waiting in the grand hall. Orchid had no choice but to go forward. Trembling, she stepped up to the throne and accepted the court's bows. Not knowing how to return the gesture, she simply bowed slightly.

For thirty thousand years, the Immortal Tribe had repeatedly invaded the Cangyan Sea and had recently sent spies again. King of Southern Youxin had captured one such spy as a congratulatory gift for Dongfang Qingcang. Spurred on by King of Southern Youxin, the court began shouting, demanding that Dongfang Qingcang personally kill the Immortal Tribe spy as a sacrifice. Orchid had no choice but to toss the sword aside on purpose.

However, the Moon Tribe ministers were not satisfied and insisted that Dongfang Qingcang carry out the execution. Thinking fast, Orchid declared that she admired the spy’s loyalty and would rather send him back to Shuiyuntian to be killed honorably in battle. Her words carried such authority that no one dared object. After the ceremony, Orchid thought she could finally lie down and rest, while figuring out what to do next.

But unexpectedly, two women appeared out of nowhere, clinging to her and refusing to leave. More and more women gathered, like venomous snakes, ready to devour her to the bone. Panicked, Orchid shouted at them to get out. Orchid called for Shang Que and lied that she had suffered a head injury during the war thirty thousand years ago and lost some of her magic.

Shang Que grew concerned—after all, the Moon Tribe revered powerful magic, and if the Moon Supreme lacked strength, the ministers might turn against her. While they were speaking, Dongfang Qingcang suddenly barged in. Pretending to be affectionate with Orchid, he drove Shang Que away. Dongfang Qingcang warned Orchid that if anyone discovered the Moon Supreme was now a powerless imposter, both of them would be doomed.

Orchid understood the danger and hurried to try conjuring lightning, but no matter how hard she tried, it didn’t work. Fortunately, there would be a thunderstorm in three days, giving them another chance to switch back. Meanwhile, a maid from the Moon Tribe went to Haishi and informed the Haishi Lord about the situation in Cangyan Sea. The Haishi Lord knew Dongfang Qingcang’s powers were immense, but even the most powerful couldn't evade the corrosion of dark energy.

Now that the Moon Tribe had cleared out spies, releasing that dark energy would be difficult. But there was someone who might help—Xun Feng. Dongfang Qingcang began teaching Orchid how to imitate him and shared the basics about the Moon Tribe. Orchid fearlessly asked about Dongfang Qingcang killing his own father, only to find he didn’t avoid the topic and showed no remorse. Outraged, Orchid cursed him as a “bastard.”

Dongfang Qingcang stared at her and reminded her that if she wanted to survive, she had better learn to be a bastard over the next three days. It was like a light went on in Orchid’s mind, and she quickly pushed Dongfang Qingcang out.
