After the incident at the Cave of Jiu Ying, Sui He noticed Xu Feng had been avoiding her. She sought him out, expressing concern that he might believe Jin Mi's words and misunderstand her again. Xu Feng dismissed her fears, stating that Jin Mi had deceived him multiple times and he would not believe her. He explained his absence was due to busy affairs in the Demon Realm.

Sui He then asked if he would have killed Jin Mi if the Heavenly Emperor hadn't intervened that day. Xu Feng confidently replied that he would have. Sui He seemed satisfied with this answer, but Xu Feng privately questioned to himself if he truly could have killed Jin Mi. In the Floral Realm, Yan You was recovering his magic power.

Lian Qiao brought him medicine, and she became flustered around him, noticing her face felt hot and her heart raced, wondering if she was developing a strange illness. Meanwhile, the King of Gu City imprisoned Mu Ci and brought a captive Liu Ying before him, coercing Mu Ci to create the Spirit-Vanishing Arrow. The King of Gu City taunted Mu Ci, knowing his deep affection for Liu Ying and believing he would sacrifice his life for her.

When Mu Ci refused, the King of Gu City repeatedly stabbed Liu Ying with a dagger. Despite Liu Ying's pleas not to agree, Mu Ci, unable to bear her suffering, finally capitulated and promised to create the arrow. After the King of Gu City departed, the image of Liu Ying faded, revealing itself to be a mere illusion conjured by one of the King of Gu City's subordinates.

The subordinate expressed doubt about Mu Ci's ability to create the arrow due to his weak magic power, but the King of Gu City remained confident, asserting that Liu Ying was Mu Ci's ultimate weakness, and he would dedicate his life to fulfilling the task. Jin Mi arrived to see Xu Feng, who was still cold and hostile towards her.

He sarcastically commented on her bravery for entering the Demon Realm alone and addressing him by name, implying she thought he wouldn't kill her. Jin Mi tearfully apologized, admitting she was wrong to have misunderstood him and that he didn't kill her father. She explained that she had seen a "vision dream" from the Beast of Dreams' archives, which showed Xu Feng's perspective of her father's death.

She recounted how all the evidence initially pointed to him, but she later discovered it had been tampered with, realizing she had wronged him, though it was too late. Xu Feng, however, remained unconvinced, interpreting her explanation as another deceitful act. He accused her and Run Yu of colluding to repeat their previous scheme to kill him, now that he was newly appointed Demon Lord.

Jin Mi desperately tried to make him believe her, asserting that Sui He was the true culprit, capable of using Glazed Pure Fire, and was responsible for her father's death and framing Xu Feng. She even mentioned Lord Puchi as a witness to Sui He using Glazed Pure Fire.

Xu Feng vehemently rejected her claims, stating that Sui He had saved him when he was dying and remained by his side when he had nothing, deeming Jin Mi far more "vicious" than Sui He. He ironically thanked Jin Mi for her "reminders," which only made him realize Sui He's preciousness. He then fiercely warned her to leave before he changed his mind and succumbed to the urge to kill her.

Jin Mi, heartbroken, repeatedly called out his name as he pushed her away and left. Sui He gloated over Jin Mi's misery, satisfied that Xu Feng now completely trusted her. She taunted Jin Mi, remarking on her inability to defeat or kill her, and attributed Jin Mi's pain to her own actions of "hanging around" Xu Feng despite her engagement to Run Yu, implying that Sui He's actions were merely a consequence of Jin Mi's choices.

Jin Mi retaliated, asserting that she would expose Sui He's murderous truth to everyone, clearing Xu Feng's name and preventing Sui He from hurting him further. Sui He defiantly declared that she would never hurt Xu Feng and that their fundamental difference lay in her willingness to sacrifice everything for him, even herself, whereas Jin Mi would kill him based on "a little trick," therefore making Jin Mi unworthy of Xu Feng's love.

Back in the Floral Realm, Jin Mi sat in despair, blaming herself for her father's and Aunt Lin Xiu's deaths, and for mistakenly killing Xu Feng. She lamented that she did not deserve his love and that he would never believe her again. Lian Qiao tried to comfort her, telling her not to blame herself for the crimes committed by the true murderer. Suddenly, Lian Qiao reported that all the flowers in the Floral Realm had vanished.

Jin Mi immediately thought of the Spring Flowers and Autumn Fruits, a representation of her true body that she had given to Xu Feng, and wondered if he had finally understood her feelings. Believing this to be a sign, she rushed towards the Demon Realm. Meanwhile, Lian Qiao later found Jin Mi's book on romance.

Reflecting on her own recent experiences with Yan You, where her face would flush and her heart race, she wondered if she had a strange illness. She sought advice from Yan You, describing a "friend's" symptoms—blushing, rapid heartbeat, happiness when seeing a particular man, and missing him when he was absent—and asked if it meant her friend was falling in love. Yan You confirmed it was indeed the awakening of love and advised her "friend" to bravely confess.

Encouraged, Lian Qiao directly confessed her feelings to Yan You, but he awkwardly rejected her, stating they weren't suitable and citing the small chance of failure in his own advice. Jin Mi arrived in the Demon Realm to find Xu Feng presenting the magnificent "Spring Flowers and Autumn Fruits" scenery to Sui He, a display she had created from her true body previously gifted to Xu Feng.

Sui He was overjoyed by the beauty, and Xu Feng, claiming it was compensation for neglecting her, offered her a phoenix flower, then proposed they hold their wedding on the fifteenth day of the next lunar month. Jin Mi, heartbroken, tearfully confronted Xu Feng, revealing that the "Spring Flowers and Autumn Fruits" was a piece of her true body and accusing Sui He of being her father's killer.

Xu Feng, however, scoffed at her words, believing she had merely used the gift to manipulate him into helping Run Yu become the Heavenly Emperor. He cruelly returned the Spring Flowers and Autumn Fruits to Jin Mi, stating he had made the best use of it, but now it was time to return it to its "rightful owner."

Jin Mi, clutching the returned object, declared her love for him, but Xu Feng angrily reminded her of her last words to him before he died: "never." He considered those words a "golden rule" he would never forget. Jin Mi tried to explain that she had consumed the Yun Elixir since childhood, rendering her immune to love and unable to understand her feelings then.

Xu Feng dismissed this as a fabricated excuse, warning her that if she ever again spoke of loving him, he would kill her immediately, threatening to carve a piece from her body each time she dared to utter such "nonsense." Holding the Spring Flowers and Autumn Fruits, Jin Mi realized it had become a weapon that could only harm herself. Run Yu found a distraught Jin Mi, acknowledging her deep sadness and her inability to forget Xu Feng.

He gently told her that despite her feelings, they could not be together again. He advised her to stop pursuing Xu Feng, suggesting it was time to let go of him and, in doing so, free herself from her suffering. Run Yu admitted he was in a similar predicament, calling them both "idiots" for their persistent, unrequited love. Mu Ci remained trapped, his memories fragmented and his identity confused.

He repeatedly attempted to create the Spirit-Vanishing Arrow, but his weak magic power rendered him unsuccessful. Observing Mu Ci's exhaustion, the King of Gu City sadistically ordered his subordinates to transfer their magic power to Mu Ci. He then tormented Mu Ci with illusions of Liu Ying suffering, forcing him to continue his task. With renewed, albeit borrowed, power, and driven by the illusory torture of Liu Ying, Mu Ci finally succeeded in crafting the Spirit-Vanishing Arrow.

The completion of the arrow caused a surge of Nether Fury, which Liu Ying sensed from afar. Disturbed, she wondered what Mu Ci was doing and why he was creating such a powerful, dark weapon. On the sixth day of the sixth lunar month, Liu Ying, having prepared everything for her wedding, anxiously awaited Mu Ci, confident he would keep his promise to marry her.

Meanwhile, Mu Ci, still held captive, recalled his promise to Liu Ying, vowing to keep their appointment for their wedding on that very day. Sui He, now openly celebrating her upcoming marriage to Xu Feng, ordered her subordinates to make grand preparations, emphasizing that this was a rare joyous event for the Demon Realm. She commanded them to announce the news throughout the Six Realms, specifically to the Heaven and Floral Realms.

Elsewhere, Run Yu, attending to a recovering Jin Mi, was advised by his subordinate to care for his own well-being. Run Yu calmly replied that his heart was entirely devoted to Jin Mi and could no longer ache, expressing his willingness to exhaust all his magic power to stand behind her, watch over her, and protect her. Later, Yue Xia Xian Ren received a wedding invitation from the Demon Realm.

He was shocked that Xu Feng was going to marry Sui He, and Immortal Yuan Ji foretold that this marriage would unleash a "big disaster" upon the Six Realms, a fate that was beyond their control and unavoidable.
