This Thriving Land – Yang Mi, Ou Hao
This Thriving Land is a life drama, directed by Liu Jiache, starring Yang Mi and Oho Ou, with Ni Dahong, Qin Hailu, Xing Fei, Zhang Tianyang, Zhang Haiyu, Chi Peng, and Sun Shaolong.
The series is adapted from Zhao Defa's novel "Qian Quan Yu Jue jue /缱绻与决绝". Set against the backdrop of rural land changes in southern Shandong, the story follows the rise and fall of three families — the Nings, the Fengs, and the Feis — represented by Ning Xiuxiu, Feng Dajiao, and Fei Zuoshi, spanning two generations. In Tianniu Temple Village, the villagers tirelessly strive for the same piece of land. It is a bond of neighborly affection that endures through the years, and a reflection of the older generation’s deep reverence and attachment to the land.

Synopsis
On the day of her wedding, Ning Xiuxiu, the daughter of the richest man in Tianni Temple Village, was kidnapped by bandits. Her father, Ning Xuexiang, was unwilling to sell his land to ransom her, so he married her sister to her childhood sweetheart, Fei Wendian. Resolute in her decision, Xiuxiu severed ties with her father and married a peasant named Feng Dajiao.
She learned to do farm work and gradually understood the importance of land to farmers. Inspired by revolutionary ideas from people like Du Chunlin, she used her knowledge to help her neighbors and led the village women in breaking free from feudal ideologies. Together with the villagers, she fought against bandits, resisted the Japanese, and supported the army. During those twenty tough but legendary years, Xiuxiu eventually reconciled with her father and realized her own self-worth.
