Luo Mingxuan blamed Lu Zhaoyao for the destruction of Xuzong Sect, stating that she had been ill since her resurrection and could only prolong her life with some kind of power, thus setting her sights on Xuzong Sect. Gu Hanguang died at Xuzong Sect also because Lu Zhaoyao sent him to gather information. Luo Mingxuan's words were watertight; although Tang Yun and others still had doubts, they were not as strong as before.
To make his lie more credible, Luo Mingxuan deliberately called out Lin Ziyu and made her tell the truth. Lin Ziyu, intent on killing Lu Zhaoyao, naturally sided with Luo Mingxuan and spoke in her favor.
