Jin Xiu specifically went to Mount Feng to discuss with Elder Chi and Xiong Tian how to deal with Jiang Wu. Because everyone had not helped Jiang Wu attack Wanlumen previously, Jin Xiu guessed that Jiang Wu must hold a grudge against them, so he persuaded the other two to join forces against Jiang Wu. Elder Chi brought up Jin Xiu imprisoning Tang Yun.

Jin Xiu explained that he was just afraid Jiang Wu would harm Tang Yun, and under the current circumstances, he naturally wouldn't continue to imprison her. Elder Chi tried to drive Jin Xiu away from Mount Feng, but Jin Xiu mocked him for not being qualified to dismiss people. The two had an unpleasant dispute. Lu Zhaoyao was put under house arrest by Jiang Wu, but she remained unusually calm.

Lu Zhaoyao returned to Dwelling Land again. She urged the Empty Store shopkeeper to quickly find a way to solve the explosion issue, and then rushed back to Wanlumen to save Li Chenlan. Li Chenlan heard the explosion and immediately realized it was Lu Zhaoyao's third explosion; he was extremely anxious. After Lu Zhaoyao disappeared, Jiang Wu was furious. He knew Lu Zhaoyao would definitely go to Li Chenlan, so he specifically went to the dungeon to wait.

Just as Jiang Wu was taunting Li Chenlan, Lu Zhaoyao suddenly appeared and, without a word, started fighting with Jiang Wu. Lu Zhaoyao originally intended to rescue Li Chenlan, but her powers were not as strong as before, and she was instead captured by Jiang Wu. Jiang Wu intended to forcefully kiss Lu Zhaoyao in front of Li Chenlan, which unintentionally triggered Li Chenlan's demonic nature.

Seeing Li Chenlan with red eyes, Lu Zhaoyao knew he had fallen into demonic possession again. She quickly tried to stop him from going mad, but then exploded and disappeared for the fourth time. Jiang Wu watched Lu Zhaoyao and Li Chenlan disappear one after another.

He was very angry and questioned Sima Rong about their whereabouts, but Sima Rong refused to say anything. Li Chenlan ran to the entrance of Dwelling Land and happened to see Lu Zhaoyao coming out. The two embraced tightly. At this time, Lu Zhaoyao was very weak from the explosions, and her face was pale. This made Li Chenlan even more worried, fearing that if he wasn't careful, Lu Zhaoyao would truly die and be gone forever.

Lu Zhaoyao fell into a deep sleep in front of Li Chenlan. Just as Li Chenlan was deep in sorrow, Jiang Wu found the two of them. Li Chenlan explained the details of the Six-Vajra Matrixes to Jiang Wu, hoping Jiang Wu would use Qin Qianxian's grandmaster power, and that he (Li Chenlan) would find a way to compensate for the cultivation lost by Jiang Wu.
