In the years Lu Zhaoyao was the leader of Wanlu Sect, she once campaigned in the south and north, greatly expanding her influence. To avoid widespread suffering, Qin Qianxian, as the Chief of Dust Pavilion, once sought Lu Zhaoyao for mercy. However, Lu Zhaoyao, upon hearing he was a famously handsome man, surprisingly had him captured and brought back, watching him all night long.
Although Lu Zhaoyao later released Qin Qianxian, it has since been rumored in the martial arts world that Qin Qianxian was implicated by Lu Zhaoyao and developed a devil within him. Li Chenlan secretly hid in the cave, eavesdropping on the conversation between Lu Zhaoyao and Jiang Wu. Lu Zhaoyao told Jiang Wu to release Sima Rong, and she would be his informant in the future.
