Luo Zhaoyan saw the Qiyuan Sect members all recognize Yue Qi as Lord Ming and wanted to strike her down to eliminate harm for the people. Yue Jinzhao stepped forward to protect Yue Qi and denied that Yue Qi was Lord Ming. Yue Jinzhao stopped Luo Zhaoyan from hurting Yue Qi and persuaded her to let him save Yue Qi first. Yue Jinzhao successfully woke up the unconscious Yue Qi using the resonance between them and successfully rescued Yue Qi.

Yue Jinzhao brought Yue Qi to the Luo Family. After the doctor examined Yue Qi, he said she was fine, which put Yue Jinzhao at ease. Luo Zhaoyan asked Yue Jinzhao the purpose of their visit to Yinghui Fort. Yue Jinzhao said they came here to find the mystery of their origins. They woke up in Wuyan Village with no past memories but possessed martial arts skills.

Then, one day when the soul fish flew out of the Qiyuan Bead, those followers would turn into stone statues, a phenomenon that Qiyuan Sect called "ascension".

In Jincui Continent, Yuzu princess Shuo Xuan accidentally discovered someone spying on her while she was bathing. The angered Shuo Xuan attacked this person to teach him a lesson. Luo Zhaoyan and others passing by heard cries for help and rushed to rescue him, only to discover that the person being taught a lesson was the mechanist Ju Shifang. Yue Qi rescued Ju Shifang.

Shuo Xuan recognized Yue Qi's identity and was full of hostility towards her, but seeing that the other side had more people, she could only warn Ju Shifang before leaving.
