Shi Wanchen was stunned to learn from Tian Guinong that Miao Renfeng's eyes had been cured. He had spent ten years meticulously developing the Heart-stab Poison, believing it to be incurable, yet a young girl from the Medicine King Valley had easily neutralized its effects. Realizing that only the Seven Pistil Chaenomeles sinensis could break the poison's hold, Shi Wanchen surmised that the Medicine King Valley must have cultivated the rare flower. He decided to go there himself to investigate.

Meanwhile, at the Medicine King Valley, Murong Jingyue instructed Jiang Xiaotie in the Soul Steal Grasp technique. Xue Que planned for Jiang Xiaotie to formally apprentice under Murong Jingyue to learn the Medicine King Valley's martial arts. Jiang Tieshan, seeing Xue Que and Murong Jingyue conversing and smiling, grew visibly jealous. Xue Que, however, dismissed Cheng Lingsu as a mere woman incapable of inheriting the sect's legacy.

She stated her intention was for her son to master martial arts and eventually seize the Verse of King of Poison from Cheng Lingsu. Xue Que's scheme, however, was tragically cut short. Unbeknownst to her, Jiang Xiaotie had already been murdered by Shi Wanchen. When Jiang Tieshan and Xue Que discovered their son's lifeless body, they were consumed by grief and mistakenly accused Murong Jingyue of the killing.

Murong Jingyue vehemently denied it, blurting out in desperation that he was Jiang Xiaotie's biological father. Overwhelmed by Xue Que's betrayal, Jiang Tieshan moved to attack Murong Jingyue, but their confrontation was interrupted by Shi Wanchen's laughter from outside. Shi Wanchen openly admitted to killing Jiang Xiaotie, stating that only he could truly wield the Soul Steal Grasp in the entire Medicine King Valley. Enraged, Jiang Tieshan and the others attacked him, seeking revenge for Xiaotie.

However, Shi Wanchen's martial arts were far superior, and he easily defeated them, then demanded that they become his disciples. Recognizing they were no match for Shi Wanchen, Jiang Tieshan and the others retreated to a secret room to strategize. They recalled their master mentioning Shi Wanchen, who had been expelled from the sect for his evil deeds and was believed to have been killed by their master.

Shi Wanchen, hearing their whispers, scoffed that he had not died and had, by chance, mastered unique poison arts. He offered them the chance to become his disciples, promising them not only survival but future dominance in the martial arts world. Unlike Jiang Tieshan's rashness, Murong Jingyue was more calculating. He suggested they feign allegiance, then strike when Shi Wanchen was unprepared. However, Shi Wanchen saw through their deception.

He revealed they had been poisoned with Bone-Crumbling Poison, which would turn them into blood within half an hour without an antidote. Presenting two antidote pills, Shi Wanchen watched as Murong Jingyue and Jiang Tieshan fought desperately. Under Shi Wanchen's insidious suggestion, Xue Que, having taken one antidote, ruthlessly killed Jiang Tieshan to save Murong Jingyue.

Meanwhile, Fu Kangan was furious with Shang Baozhen for resorting to extreme measures to bring Ma Chunhua back, deeming his actions a failure worthy of punishment. Ma Chunhua had been brought to Fu Kangan's residence, and he rushed back eagerly. Upon entering, he was captivated by Ma Chunhua, who looked stunning in a Manchu dress. Seeing Fu Kangan, Ma Chunhua was anxious, stating that with her children safely delivered, it was time for her to leave.

Fu Kangan quickly stopped her, pouring out his heart. Ma Chunhua, still deeply affected by him, began to cry, ultimately deciding to stay. For years, the Old Madam Fu had suffered from a strange illness, manifesting as painful and itchy cysts on her neck. Despite numerous physicians, her condition showed no improvement. Her frustration led to daily outbursts, disrupting the entire residence. Fu Kangan had no choice but to send for renowned doctors from other regions.

Not long after, Yuan Ziyi's junior sister, Feihong, arrived in the capital with a snow lotus. Criminals attempted to steal it, but Yuan Ziyi intervened, recovering the precious herb. Yuan Ziyi and Feihong then went to meet the All-knowing Nun, and Feihong was relieved when Yuan Ziyi did not mention the incident. Elsewhere, Xue Que and Murong Jingyue, now controlled by Miaojiang Gu poison, were compelled to follow Shi Wanchen to the capital.

Shi Wanchen anticipated that Cheng Lingsu would attend the World's Sect Leaders Gathering in the capital, and he was determined to find her there to reclaim the Verse of King of Poison and the Seven Pistil Chaenomeles sinensis. The All-knowing Nun prepared the snow lotus into medicine, which significantly alleviated the Old Madam Fu's symptoms. At the Old Madam's fervent invitation, the Nun agreed to temporarily reside in the prince's residence.

On the other side of the capital, Feng Tiannan and his son arrived with Sect Leader Tang. With the World's Sect Leaders Gathering imminent, drawing famous martial artists from across the land, Sect Leader Tang assured Feng Tiannan he would arrange meetings with various martial arts masters. Feng Tiannan also expressed concern about Hu Fei, but Sect Leader Tang confidently asserted that with the gathering personally overseen by Fu Kangan, Hu Fei would not dare to cause trouble.

He then arranged a meeting between Feng Tiannan and other martial arts leaders. At the meeting, Feng Tiannan offered gifts and spoke of a powerful foe he had recently encountered, asking for their assistance.
