Gu Jin, considering Bi Bo's status as a Water Condensing Beast, believed that there must be a method for the tribe's long-term existence. The solution lay in refining the Divine Transformation Pill, a process that required the person refining it to use a hundred years of spiritual energy as the cost to kindle the pill fire. The three main medicinal ingredients were the Yao Clan's precious Bihun Grass, the Heavenly Palace's mysterious pool divine dew, and a spirit pill from a bird that had cultivated for over ten thousand years.

However, whether immortal, demonic, or avian, the inner elixir was equivalent to one's life. To obtain the last medicinal ingredient meant trading one's life, violating the laws of heaven and earth. Despite the objections from Bi Bo and others, Gu Jin was determined to refine the Divine Transformation Pill. He first borrowed the divine dew from Emperor Lan Feng, then sought Hong Yi's help to obtain the Bihun Grass, even though it meant using his life to exchange for it.

Since Gu Jin also needed the Feathered Songbird Crown, the ancestral crown of the Peacock Kings of generations past, he decided to use a jade seal as an exchange, promising to do anything for the other party in the future. Hua Shu, having confessed her feelings to Emperor Lan Feng, was willing to let go of the past, striving to become a better person in the future. She happily formed this positive karmic bond.

On the other hand, Hong Yi hurriedly returned to the Fox Clan to steal the Bihun Grass but was caught by Hong Ruo. Hong Ruo declared that the Fox Clan could no longer tolerate a traitor like him who betrayed his kin and parents. Since he insisted on being friends with the immortal realm, he had to sever ties with the demon clan. Hong Ruo ordered him to return the bracelet, and from then on, their relationship as uncle and nephew was cut off, with no more connections.

Under Hong Ruo's instigation, Hong Yi used his inner elixir's spiritual power to unravel the bracelet and took away his father's Annihilation Wheel. However, unbeknownst to Hong Yi, Qing Lin secretly cast a spell on him, causing him to be tainted with half of the demonic aura. Despite Hong Ruo's desire to break free from the restraint and regain his body, it was futile. Qing Lin vowed to destroy everything Hong Ruo cared about.

The entire night at Mount Ningyun was sleepless, with lamps burning brightly. Gu Jin used the blood of chaos to detoxify A Yin, standing by her bedside until dawn. When A Yin woke up and saw Gu Jin, she was initially stunned and then noticed her own white hair, feeling a sense of desolation. Realizing that her time was running out, but Gu Jin repeatedly denied it, comforting A Yin to rest well.

After Hong Yi retrieved the Bihun Grass and Gu Jin claimed to be in seclusion for cultivation, he was actually refining the pill on the back mountain. Yan Shuang and Hong Yi, worried that A Yin would be bored, accompanied her every day. Despite some improvement in her condition, she still harbored a knot in her heart—misunderstanding Gu Jin. A Yin felt that Gu Jin's seclusion was to avoid her, and his interventions were merely to make amends for guilt. Gu Jin, in turn, silently expressed concern from a distance.

On the night of Hong Yi's promotion in the Heavenly Hall, Gu Jin set up a barrier to prevent others from noticing. On the other side, Hua Shu tried on the wedding dress for the next day, and Emperor Lan Feng personally combed her hair. They reminisced about their first meeting, and love and affection took root in both hearts, culminating in an embrace and a kiss.

At the forbidden valley behind Daze Mountain, the cauldron's fire burned fiercely. Gu Jin, visibly fatigued, watched as the last step of refining the Divine Transformation Pill approached. Despite the exhaustion, a smile appeared on his face. Meanwhile, A Yin sat alone under a tree, drowning her sorrows in wine. Gu Jin couldn't help but approach her, draping a coat over her shoulders. As he watched her silently weeping, he felt an indescribable discomfort.

In the blink of an eye, it was the day of Emperor Lan Feng and Hua Shu's wedding. The sound of the Qinglong Crest echoed, and guests arrived successively, welcoming the Peacock Princess adorned in magnificent attire. However, when the third chime sounded, Emperor Lan Feng's figure was conspicuously absent, leaving the immortals bewildered and looking at each other.

Nervous and anxious, Hua Shu, after sending the Red Sparrow to check, heard a painful dragon roar that echoed through the sky. Soon after, she and Full-Boundary Immortals descended before the Imperial Palace, finding Emperor Lan Feng dressed in dragon-embroidered attire. Blood surged from his chest, staining his half-kneeling figure. Emperor Lan Feng gazed affectionately at Hua Shu, then fell into her arms, breathless. All attempts to save him were in vain because his inner elixir shattered, and half of his immortal essence was untraceable. The Soul Lamp was utterly useless. In her grief, Hua Shu, together with the immortals, checked the Mirror of the World, witnessing that Emperor Lan Feng was killed by the Nine-Tailed Fox personally, instantly connecting it to the Fox Clan.
