> She and Her Perfect Husband Recap

Fangfang introduces her fiancé Cao Yiren to Wu Fei. Observing their interaction, Wu Fei sees that they are natural with each other, and notes that Fangfang has become more humble and considerate—thanks in part to Cao Yiren. Wu Fei concludes they are truly in love. Wu Fei also privately asks if Cao Yiren would sign a prenuptial agreement. Cao says he wouldn’t do it just to please Fangfang’s father, but if it makes Fangfang happy, he would gladly sign.

Meanwhile, Qi Dagang investigates Cao Yiren in secret. He finds no issues in his private life. Even when entertaining clients, Cao informs Fangfang or brings her along. The assistant attorney from the family law department discovers that Cao Yiren didn’t leave his previous marriage empty-handed. He didn’t work for the first three years after getting married, and even his investments came from his ex-wife. Cao’s own family background is average.

Although he’s smart, he only worked on Wall Street for a year before quitting to get married. The marriage ended because his business partner cheated with his wife, forcing him to divorce. Qin Shi believes Cao Yiren worked hard to rise in social class, but questions whether it’s a coincidence that both his ex-wife and current girlfriend come from wealthy or prestigious families.

Later, Qi Dagang obtains new evidence and gives it to Qin Shi, who then concludes that Cao is a professional “soft rice man”—a man who lives off rich women. She tells Tao Junhui, but Tao disagrees. He says that studying business inevitably involves dealing with wealthy people and that love is mutual. Moreover, Cao hasn’t actually married any of those wealthy women, so they have no right to judge from a moral high ground.

He reminds her that Cao will be coming to the firm that day, and their goal is to get him to sign the prenuptial agreement. Cai Liang investigates Tao Junhui for Yang Hua and finds that Tao is even more outstanding than expected. In college, Tao only had one relationship—with a junior—but Cai couldn’t identify who she was. Li Dai, acting as Cao Yiren’s lawyer, comes to Cheng & Hui.

She is now fully in charge of negotiating the prenuptial agreement between Cao and Fangfang. Li Dai is very familiar with Qin Shi’s legal style and knows Qin has already looked into Cao’s background and relationship history. She plays a recording of Cao saying he had no intention of remarrying until he met Fangfang, who made him abandon his previous beliefs.

After the meeting, Li Dai goes to Qin Shi’s office on the 11th floor and is surprised to find that Qin Shi has been relegated to working in the archive room. She mocks Qin Shi a bit, then invites her to lunch to discuss Cao Yiren. During the meal, Li Dai advises Qin Shi to drop the case, insisting Cao will never sign the agreement.

Qin Shi refuses to give up and doesn’t want to admit she’s being marginalized at Cheng & Hui. Through Li Dai, she learns that Yang Hua has been studying law on his own to support her, making her regret previously speaking harshly to him under the guise of professional authority. Yang Hua researches Fangyu Financial. When Cai Liang finds out, he warns Yang Hua to stay away.

Although Cai knows Yang Hua and Chairman Qiu have a history, Qiu now handles a project that the bank’s credit department values highly, making him a major client the bank cannot afford to offend. That evening, when Qin Shi returns home, she notices that Yang Hua is preoccupied. Despite her questions, Yang Hua says nothing, leaving Qin Shi troubled. Later that night, Yang Hua reflects on Qin Shi’s past with Tao Junhui and decides to talk to her properly.
