She and Her Perfect Husband Episode 12 Recap
> She and Her Perfect Husband Recap
After some investigation, Jin Cheng and the others realized that although President Lan was the defendant, she wasn’t the actual operator of Lowe Yulan. So the accusations of fraud and illegal operation were unlikely to stick to her. However, her husband, Pang Dingfang, was another story. Since he was abroad, there was a high chance of conviction.
Jin Cheng told President Lan the worst-case scenario: if Pang Dingfang was convicted and fled with the money, never returning to China, Lowe Yulan would go bankrupt and be liquidated, and their joint assets would be seized to repay debts. The best option might be for her to divorce Pang Dingfang to avoid a mutually destructive outcome. Though the Lowe Yulan case started as a financial dispute, it had now turned into a divorce case.
Li Dai and Qin Shi both claimed not to want to take on such a thorny divorce case, but secretly began preparing. Despite Tang Yihui previously instructing Qin Shi to stay away and focus on entering the corporate department, Qin Shi still wanted to give it a try. Yang Hua’s mother constantly asked Cai Liang about him, and fortunately Cai Liang helped cover up for him, for which Yang Hua was grateful.
Yang Hua wanted to move out and asked Cai Liang to help find an apartment, but Cai Liang thought it was good for him to live with Qin Shi — few women could get along with Yang Hua. Li Dai believed Jin Cheng intended to assign the divorce case to her. But Qiao Siming analyzed that the Jin couple didn’t want Qin Shi, who had just performed well, to risk her reputation by handling a difficult case.
Wu Fei came to see her boyfriend Tao Junhui and picked him up from work. They planned to have hot pot at home and went grocery shopping together. Meanwhile, Qin Shi and Yang Hua were also buying groceries and chatting. Qin Shi expressed her desire to take on President Lan’s divorce case and believed Pang Dingfang had deliberately fled, leaving Lan to face everything alone.
Wu Fei also learned from Tao Junhui about President Lan’s financial situation and guessed that Cheng & Hui might take her case. Qin Shi and Yang Hua discussed key points of the case. Unexpectedly, they ran into Wu Fei and Tao Junhui at the supermarket. The four of them sat down to chat, but only Wu Fei was relaxed — the other three were awkward.
Wu Fei openly admitted Tao Junhui was her boyfriend and that the boss of Simei PR was her father. She hoped Qin Shi wouldn’t reveal her background at the firm. Qin Shi learned that Wu Fei and Tao Junhui planned to marry by year’s end. Wu Fei invited her to attend, but Tao Junhui declined on the spot, leaving Wu Fei embarrassed. Tao Junhui asked Qin Shi not to let Wu Fei dig into the Lowe Yulan case through him.
Qin Shi said she had only assigned Wu Fei to basic tasks, but if they were concerned, she would remove her from it. Though Wu Fei was unhappy about Tao Junhui’s comments affecting her work, she also sensed tension between him and Qin Shi and worried he was hiding something. Tao Junhui quickly brushed her off. On the way back, Yang Hua noticed Qin Shi was silent and thought she was upset about seeing her ex.
But Qin Shi actually suspected, based on Tao Junhui’s behavior, that the Lowe Yulan case was far more complicated. Zhao Danping went home and found that Lan Xiaoting wasn’t there. Worried something happened, she called Tang Yihui for help. Tang Yihui notified the firm’s colleagues to help search for her. Upon hearing the news, Li Dai took the initiative to notify Qin Shi, curious if she still wanted to get involved in the divorce case.
