Shadow Punisher
Shadow Punisher is a historical suspense drama directed by Zheng Weiwen and Liu Chong, written by Chen Yuhan and Hou Wenwen, led by Luo Yunxi, Alen Fang, Shen Yujie, He Hongshan, and Wang Haixiang, co-starring Ma Wenyuan and Niu Zifan.
Adapted from Wang Ke's novel of the same name, the drama is set in the Dashi Dynasty during the 37th year of Hongyun reign. It follows "Qingyang Gentleman" Li Si as he infiltrates the Divine Constabulary to investigate the truth behind the "Fourth Prince's death." Teaming up with female coroner Bai Zhenzhu and "ghost constable" Meng Rui, they form a special investigative unit to solve the "Eight Bizarre Cases," ultimately uncovering a conspiracy by remnants of the fallen Liruo Kingdom who use the "Five Mystic Arts" to create illusions in an attempt to restore their nation.
