Lu Zhi'ang took Yan Mo out to a suburban park for some fresh air. In the tranquil afternoon, Yan Mo meticulously prepared food for Lu Zhiang. Lu Zhiang deliberately made things difficult for Yan Mo, but Yan Mo remained reserved, trying her best to fulfill all of Lu Zhiang's requests, suppressing her anger as much as possible. Yan Mo clumsily spent a long time setting up the tent, and Lu Zhiang's demands were endless. Yan Mo finally erupted.

Lu Zhiang genuinely felt that the wild yet authentic Yan Mo being herself was a happy thing. Yan Mo's simple way of thinking overwhelmed Lu Zhiang, and their leisure time brought their two hearts, which harbored mutual affection, closer and closer. Lu Zhiang learned from Yan Mo that Fu Xiaosi was entangled in a lawsuit. He worried that Fu Xiaosi was under too much pressure and hoped to do his part.

Cheng Qiqi informed Li Xia about Fu Xiaosi's lawsuit, deliberately trying to create trouble for everyone. Fu Xiaosi, not wanting to cause trouble for Lu Zhiang and Li Xia, had wanted to apologize to Li Xia and confide in him many times, but he never had the courage. Fu Xiaosi was drinking to numb himself in frustration when Li Xia prepared exquisite food and offered warm words to give Fu Xiaosi strength.

He could withstand the pressure and stayed by Fu Xiaosi's side. Shouldn't two people who understand each other's hearts support and trust each other? Yu Jian was no longer obsessed with singing. At home, she diligently managed the warm nest she and Duan Qiao had built together. In their daily lives, their interactions were never short of sweetness and understanding.

Yu Jian suddenly understood that the so-called happiness of ordinary people, and everything from the past, was so ethereal; only the present days were what she should cherish. Fu Xiaosi submitted valid supporting materials to his lawyer. However, the lawyer urged Fu Xiaosi to hold the press conference for his new art book as soon as possible, to gain an advantage.

Fu Xiaosi worried that his chances of winning the lawsuit were slim and hoped the lawyer would not mention his eye condition in public, to protect his privacy. Yan Mo deeply felt there was an inside story behind Yu Jian's elimination from the competition. She also inquired with other judges about the elimination through her own means. Having witnessed Cheng Qiqi's schemes, she decided to retrieve all the video tapes from the day of the competition to uncover the truth.

Yan Mo called Lu Zhiang to inform him to come to the archive room to investigate the truth together, but at the entrance of the archive room, she ran into a stealthy Cheng Qiqi. Yan Mo angrily questioned Cheng Qiqi why she would so resolutely disregard their friendship and eliminate Yu Jian due to personal feelings. Cheng Qiqi, however, feigned innocence, arguing that she knew nothing about Yu Jian's elimination. During their entanglement, a dispute broke out.

Yan Mo insisted on searching Cheng Qiqi's handbag to verify the videotape, but it was all in vain, as she didn't get the expected result. Yan Mo's aggressive behavior towards Cheng Qiqi was witnessed by Lu Zhiang, and coupled with Cheng Qiqi's act of playing the victim, Lu Zhiang misunderstood Yan Mo as being unreasonable.

No matter how Yan Mo explained, Lu Zhiang refused to believe her, choosing only to trust what he saw with his own eyes, leaving Yan Mo in despair. Cheng Qiqi took out the videotape hidden on her person and destroyed the evidence. Everything seemed to have settled, and the matter concerning Yu Jian temporarily came to an end. Fu Xiaosi worked hard overtime to complete his new art book.

Li Xia worried that the excessive workload would overload Fu Xiaosi's body, so he actively accompanied Fu Xiaosi as his capable assistant. Li Xia forcibly took Fu Xiaosi away, freeing him from the high-pressure work. Fu Xiaosi and Li Xia returned to the place where they had lived during university. Looking at the familiar scenery, both of them reminisced about their time at Qianchuan No. 1 High School.

Fu Xiaosi deeply understood Li Xia's feelings and, using a branch, drew a phantom outline of Qianchuan No. 1 High School for him. Time rewound to that bright afternoon in their first year of high school; youthful memories stirred, the years passed but the feelings remained, the scene unchanged. Fu Xiaosi wrote a confession in Li Xia's palm, his tightly clenched fist no longer let go. Fu Xiaosi passionately kissed Li Xia, preserving that perfect summer.

Yu Jian went to the construction site to find Duan Qiao, only to learn that Duan Qiao no longer worked there. However, he had been hiding this from Yu Jian, not wanting her to worry. Duan Qiao returned home exhausted. Yu Jian was in low spirits, preoccupied with worries, and couldn't help but ask Duan Qiao about quitting his construction job. Duan Qiao reluctantly told Yu Jian that he was sorry for not being able to keep his promise.

Yu Jian, however, didn't think much of it. These past few days, Yu Jian had been overthinking; she was so afraid that Duan Qiao no longer loved her. She had become increasingly dependent on Duan Qiao, wanting to share everything with him. Yan Mo and Lu Zhiang had a falling out, leaving her in no mood to come to work. Lu Zhiang was distracted, secretly anxious about Yan Mo but still pretending not to care.

Even unfamiliar sounds became sensitive to him; he feared being exposed but acted calm. Whenever he saw Yan Mo's office door open, he couldn't help but worry about her, but the outcome was not as desired. Lu Zhiang called Yan Mo to communicate, using the change of location for Fu Xiaosi's new artwork as an excuse, but he did not receive a reply from Yan Mo. Could the two of them ever go back to how they were at the beginning?
