Li Xia recalled many things from her high school days, meeting Fu Xiaosi, and meeting many other people. All of this was fate predetermined in the dark. Her idol was a priest, and in the real world, after spending days and nights together, Fu Xiaosi also became the person she loved most. Fu Xiaosi learned that Lu Zhiang did not attend the college entrance examination, so he sought him out for a chat.

Lu Zhiang had no regrets about his choice, because in his heart, his mother's wish was the strength that supported him to live optimistically and move forward bravely. Fulfilling his mother's wish was more worthwhile than anything else. Fu Xiaosi understood that Lu Zhiang wanted to fulfill his mother's dream. He understood and supported him. He believed that no matter what, their friendship would not change.

After opening up to each other, the two came to that familiar noodle shop to eat beef noodles. They were still playful and teasing, with the usual tacit understanding and cooperation between brothers. Just then, Cheng Qiqi called, inviting Lu Zhiang and Fu Xiaosi to sing karaoke that evening to celebrate their high school graduation. In the KTV room, Lu Zhiang and Fu Xiaosi were novices when it came to singing.

Seeing that the atmosphere wasn't lively enough, Cheng Qiqi suggested playing a game where the loser had to confess their regrets from the past three years. Everyone eagerly participated. Oujun lost and said his biggest regret was liking Ms. Wenren but never confessing. To fulfill his cherished wish, his classmates egged him on to call and confess. Oujun dialed the number but never found the courage to speak, still wishing Ms. Wenren a happy marriage with the PE teacher.

Ms. Wenren understood Oujun's feelings and was touched by the blessings from her student. In her eyes, the boy who used to be a scamp had now grown up and could stand on his own. The classmates were happily playing games in the KTV when it was Cheng Qiqi's turn. Qiqi lost but dared not reveal her regrets.

She didn't want others to know the secret buried deep in her heart, her misplaced love for Fu Xiaosi, which made her embarrassed. She was also afraid that if she spoke, she would lose Li Xia, her good friend, so she chose to drink a penalty. Fu Xiaosi and Lu Zhiang sang "Those Flowers" together, cheered on by their classmates. When they reached the emotional part, everyone hummed along. Youth found its emotional home after such unrestrained indulgence.

Fu Xiaosi came out and encountered Qiqi, who had been drinking and vomiting. Qiqi, emboldened by alcohol, said that her earlier claim of having no regrets was false. Fu Xiaosi, however, comforted her, saying everyone has regrets; it just depends on whether you are willing to turn them into real wishes. Fu Xiaosi didn't understand that Qiqi's biggest regret was not being able to be with the person she loved.

She loved Fu Xiaosi, but Fu Xiaosi only had Li Xia in his eyes. Once someone lives in his heart, everyone else in his eyes is just a compromise. Cheng Qiqi bought sky lanterns. Everyone wrote their wishes on the sky lanterns. They released their wishes into the sky, letting them drift towards the unknown and pitch-black distance. In the intertwined moments of singing and tears, their high school life thus came to a perfect end.

A group of graduating high school seniors came to the store to buy drinks and celebrate their graduation. Yu Jian watched the happy graduating students and recalled her own decision to give up school, feeling ashamed of her current situation, and somewhat regretting her choice. Because struggling alone was too hard and too lonely, the price she paid for her dreams was something she had not anticipated. She confided her thoughts to Duan Qiao.

Duan Qiao comforted her, saying that no matter what Yu Jian became, she would always be unique. Fu Xiaosi was quietly drawing alone in his room. His mother excitedly came upstairs to tell Fu Xiaosi that he had been admitted to the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts. Fu Xiaosi had already anticipated this result and remained unfazed by favor or disgrace. Li Xia also lived up to her mother's expectations and was admitted to the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts.

She could still study and live in the same space as Fu Xiaosi; this was their original agreement. Lu Zhiang came to his mother's grave and told her that he had been admitted to Waseda University in Japan, thus fulfilling her wish. He hoped his mother would also be happy for him in heaven. Li Xia finally arrived at the university she had longed for. Ambitious, she yearned to make her mark in Shanghai.

Yu Jian had promised Li Xia that she would take her out when she came to Shanghai. But after coming to Shanghai, Yu Jian had been busy singing. She also didn't want Li Xia to see her downtrodden state. Furthermore, she was completely unfamiliar with Shanghai, so she asked Duan Qiao to pick up Li Xia on her behalf. Cheng Qiqi and Lu Zhiang, Li Xia and Fu Xiaosi said goodbye at the airport.

They were about to head to their respective universities. For three years, they had spent every day together, but graduation meant going their separate ways. They said hurried goodbyes, saying farewell to the right people at the right time. Lu Zhiang also arrived in Japan to start a new life. In a hotel, however, he unexpectedly met Yan Mo, his destined love-hate partner. An unexpected cross-country encounter was about to befall Lu Zhiang.
