Mr. Gao instructed his team to support these brands, recognizing their importance during Lido's transformation.
Zhaoyang gave Yang Jian a pair of unreleased Aneda sneakers for user experience research, asking him to wear them for a week and fill out a detailed questionnaire on their feel. Yang Jian was thrilled to receive them. Zhaoyang wistfully remarked that she still wants to design shoes, but questioned the point of just wanting something. Later, Jiang Hu arrived with groceries for hotpot and, learning the shoes were from Zhaoyang, suggested they invite her to join them.
During dinner, Zhaoyang bluntly told Jiang Hu that she has been the person she hated most since middle school. Jiang Hu apologized for her past actions, stating she has moved on and hopes they can start over, formally reintroducing herself. Xu Si evasively said he would "think about it." Frustrated, Jiang Hu retorted that without Zhaoyang, Teng Yue's quarterly targets would be impossible to meet. Xu Si maintained that for now, "influencer Zhaoyang" was more valuable to him than "designer Zhaoyang." Waiting until the lunch break, Jiang Hu cornered Xu Si for a private talk. She took him to a convenience store, and after eating quickly, she again asked what "unspeakable" things happened.
Instead of answering, Xu Si asked if she would mind if they had crossed a line. When she claimed she wouldn't, he pressed her to consider why she was so insistent on knowing, urging her to find a clear answer for both of them. Later, Jiang Hu met with TT Media's CEO, Song Zhi, to negotiate Zhaoyang's contract. Jiang Hu, having consulted a lawyer, was confident a one-million-yuan termination fee was feasible.
Song Zhi laughed this off, declaring Zhaoyang was worth tens of millions and threatening to drag the case out in court for years. As Jiang Hu was leaving, she noticed a photo of Song Zhi at Cambridge and asked who else from their circle attended.
