Both were happy and shy, having confirmed their feelings for each other. The morning after their confession was a mix of giddy excitement and awkwardness. Si Tu Mo enthusiastically searched through her wardrobe for the perfect outfit and meticulously applied her makeup, anticipating a romantic gesture from Gu Weiyi. Meanwhile, Gu Weiyi was so preoccupied he accidentally drenched himself while washing dishes.

Their discussion escalated, with Wang Shan expressing her underlying doubt about the longevity of his feelings, leading to Fu Pei angrily walking away, feeling his commitment was not trusted. At work, Si Tu Mo received a task to participate in an orange juice advertisement shooting. Her colleague, Jie Er, expressed envy and insisted Si Tu Mo get an autograph from the handsome spokesperson, Lin Zhi Cun, a request Si Tu Mo refused, citing professionalism.
Back in the lab, Zhou Lei complained to Professor Jiang about Gu Weiyi using his phone, drawing attention to Gu Weiyi's new relationship.
