Nan Xing mimicked her mother’s tone and kept asking Xiao Wudi about his identity and job. Nan Xing’s mom made dumplings and invited Xiao Wudi to try them. Xiao Wudi and Nan Xing were secretly dating and were nearly caught by her mom.
Her mom wanted to look at their phone photos, but their phones were filled with selfies together. Nan Xing quickly took Xiao Wudi back to her room. The two continued texting, planning to leave work together, say goodnight, and share cheesy lines. Xiao Wudi wanted to resolve his identity issue as soon as possible so he could date Nan Xing openly. Nan Xing really liked the wind chime and hung it on her window.
The next day, when Nan Xing went to work, she thought Xiao Wudi was still asleep, but he was already at the bus stop with roses waiting for her. They sweetly agreed to meet again after work. When Nan Xing arrived at the office, she found that Lu Zichen hadn’t gone home all night and had stayed in the office.
