She confronted Jiang Xiaoning, expressing her enduring anger over her brother, Jiang Xiaoning’s father, being falsely accused of embezzling tens of millions of public funds.
Her fury reignited upon seeing a photo of his "good friend," whom she believed was truly responsible for framing him, lamenting that a dead man could not defend himself. She insisted on moving out immediately, despite Tang Xu’s attempts to calm her. Tang Xu, her son, reluctantly left them.
Jiang Xiaoning then revealed the harsh truth: Grandma had almost burned down their rental house by forgetting to turn off the stove, and they had no money left for compensation, agent fees, or even a deposit, as her hospital bills were borrowed from the company.
