After making a scene in Class A, An Chuxia, Meng Xiaonan, and Ling Hanyu are chatting in the hallway when Mo Xinwei and her follower Wan Zi arrive looking for Chuxia. Entering her classroom, An Chuxia finds Wan Zi bullying a male classmate, Wang Jianren, and intervenes. Mo Xinwei then confronts Chuxia, questioning her about the rumor of being pregnant with Han Qilu's child.
After Chuxia dismisses the rumor, Mo Xinwei condescendingly advises her to focus on her studies instead of trying to win a man by clinging to him. Chuxia offers a sarcastic retort before Mo Xinwei leaves. Afterward, Meng Xiaonan encourages Chuxia to always stand up for herself. Meanwhile, in Class A, Han Qilu is furious, demanding to know who played the prank on An Chuxia. The student responsible, Gao Gan, is too frightened to confess.
The confrontation between An Chuxia and Mo Xinwei fuels the gossip, and the rumor that "An Chuxia is confirmed to be pregnant with Han Qilu's child" spreads rapidly. An Chuxia angrily confronts a group of students spreading the rumor, threatening them to stop. At lunch, three classmates, Cai Xia and Ming Yue among them, try to curry favor with An Chuxia, believing the pregnancy rumor. When she denies being pregnant, they mistake it for a request for discretion and promise to help suppress any media leaks about it. Lying on the grass, Han Qilu looks at a pendant An Chuxia dropped and gets lost in a memory of a night spent stargazing and making wishes on a meteor with a girl, leaving him to wonder where she is now. Later, in You Tian's class, An Chuxia's allergic reaction causes her to itch uncontrollably.
You Tian mistakes her scratching for a raised hand and calls her to the front to appraise a porcelain vase. Distracted, she accidentally drops and shatters the vase, which turns out to be a genuine antique from the late Qing Dynasty borrowed from the principal. Distraught, An Chuxia accepts Meng Xiaonan's suggestion to go out for food to clear her head.
Along with Ling Hanyu, Cai Xia, Ming Yue, and Wang Jianren, they head to a roadside food stall and invite their friend Feng Shao to join them. Back at the Han mansion, a worried Jiang Yuanyuan orders a reluctant Han Qilu to go find Chuxia. While the group is eating, creditors arrive looking for Feng Shao. They demand 3,000 yuan as compensation for a bad haircut. When Feng Shao is unable to pay, the men threaten everyone at the table.
