Lin Dong frantically searched for Huanhuan in the forest, calling out her name. He recalled their past moments together, his worry intensifying, calling out, "Die then. I don't care. Even in death, I'm going to die with you! Huanhuan! Where are you? ! Anyway, your life is mine. I'm not allowing you to die! If you’re going to die, you have to take me with you!" After using a spell, he located Huanhuan lying nearby.

As they walked through the forest, Huanhuan expressed her joy that Lin Dong had formed his yuan-pellet. Lin Dong playfully described how the yuan-pellet "swooshed" into existence during an emergency, driven by the desire to help someone important. Huanhuan, however, insisted he must protect her, but Lin Dong countered that he would protect the person most important to him, implying it had nothing to do with her. Hurt, Huanhuan began to cry, urging him to go protect that important person.

Lin Dong then embraced her, confessing that if she were gone, he would regret losing all their good times and fun. Huanhuan retorted, reminding him of Qingzhu and how someone from the Ninth Heaven Taiqing Palace had promised to guard him for a lifetime. They bickered playfully before Huanhuan turned serious, asking if truly nothing had happened between him and Qingzhu.

Lin Dong admitted that he once thought he liked Qingzhu, viewing her as a high and lofty fairy, but realized his pursuit was merely a way to avoid admitting his own weakness. When Huanhuan disappeared earlier, he had felt an overwhelming desire to disappear himself. He then confessed that he didn't know when it started, but he had fallen for her. Overjoyed, Huanhuan eagerly asked when he began to like her.

Lin Dong promised to tell her once he obtained the Ice Talisman. Huanhuan then remembered her father's warning about the doomed nature of their love and the need to sever ties and forget her past secular life. She urged Lin Dong not to pursue the Ice Talisman but to leave with her instead. Lin Dong, confused, asked why they had to leave. Huanhuan insisted she didn't want him to leave her.

Lin Dong reassured his "silly girl" that he would never let her leave him. He promised that once he gathered all eight ancestral talismans and destroyed the Yi-Demon Emperor, bringing peace to the world, they would explore the vast world together. He then asked her to close her eyes for a kiss, but both kept opening their eyes, teasing each other until they finally shared a kiss.

Meanwhile, at the Clan Storage, Lin Langtian confronted Qingzhu, stating it was the Great Yan Dynasty's Clan Storage, not Lin Dong's. He acknowledged that Qingzhu had reached the Luck Creation Rank, but mocked her for leisurely traveling with Lin Dong instead of focusing on cultivation. Despite his perceived superiority, Qingzhu declared she would fulfill her duty, and they began to fight.

Clan members observed Lin Langtian's fierce and ruthless fighting style, noting his youth and strength at the Luck Creation Rank, though some expressed concern that such power might attract enemies. Lin Langtian quickly overpowered Qingzhu, leaving her injured. Still in the forest, Huanhuan told Lin Dong she had been lured away, not with the intent to kill her, but to delay him from reaching the Ice Talisman. She suspected it was Qingtan. Just then, Qingtan appeared and attacked them.

Lin Dong was shocked to see his sister. Qingtan apologized, stating her only wish was for her brother to live a happy and peaceful life, away from conflict. Lin Dong, however, refused to abandon the fight against the Yi-Demons, especially after their father's death. Huanhuan pressed Qingtan for Lin Langtian's whereabouts, suspecting he was after the Ice Talisman. Qingtan insisted Lin Langtian was helping her brother. Lin Dong shattered Qingtan's binding spell, promising to talk properly when he returned.

Huanhuan wanted to join Lin Dong in pursuing Lin Langtian, but Lin Dong instructed her to stay and care for Qingtan, promising to return swiftly. Lin Dong arrived at the Clan Storage, finding Lin Langtian battling Qingzhu. He intervened, chastising Lin Langtian for his relentless pursuit. Lin Dong told Qingzhu to rest, assuring her he would handle the rest, and asked Xiao Diao to look after her.

Lin Langtian, surprised by Lin Dong's confidence, realized he had formed his yuan-pellet, which explained why Qingtan couldn't stop him. Lin Dong first thanked Lin Langtian for saving Qingtan earlier, then declared that any pretense of politeness between them was over. Lin Langtian echoed the sentiment, asserting that all his actions were for Lin Dong's good. Lin Dong dismissed his words, stating that only fists would speak now, and they resumed their intense fight.

The Prince, who had arrived with his retinue, cheered them on. Lin Langtian abruptly changed tactics, challenging Lin Dong to a race, then used this as a pretense to flee. The Clan Chief and Huangfu family's guards advised the Prince against entering the dangerous Clan Storage, but the Prince, unafraid, insisted on observing from a distance.

Meanwhile, Mu Qianqian questioned Sixth Prince's ability to retrieve the Ice Talisman, threatening to find Lin Langtian instead, whom Sixth Prince correctly identified as her preferred agent, Xiao Tian. Mu Qianqian asserted her sole authority in deciding whom to employ. Elsewhere, Qingtan, still bound, pleaded with Huanhuan to release her so she could find her brother. Xiao Yan burst onto the scene, happily embracing Qingtan, who he was relieved to find alive.

Huanhuan asked Xiao Yan about Lin Dong, learning that Lin Dong had already gone into the Clan Storage, and Xiao Diao had sent Xiao Yan to find him. Qingtan asked Xiao Yan to release her, but Xiao Yan refused, fearing she would run off to help "the bad guy," referring to Lin Langtian. Qingtan denied Lin Langtian was bad, but Huanhuan accused her of being infatuated and forgetting her loyalty, an assessment Xiao Yan wholeheartedly agreed with.

Back with the conspirators, Mu Qianqian explained to Sixth Prince the fundamental difference between humans and demons: humans are singularly focused, allowing demons to strike from behind when they are engrossed in their own battles. Huanhuan began to feel dizzy, but urged Qingtan and Xiao Yan to go find Lin Dong. Qingtan, however, insisted Xiao Yan stay and take care of Huanhuan before running off on her own.

Inside the Clan Storage, Lin Langtian discovered the entrance to where the Ice Talisman resided. As he reached for it, Lin Dong appeared, ensnaring him and pleading with him to turn back. Lin Langtian struggled and ultimately, Lin Dong released him. Lin Langtian declared he was acting to eliminate the Yi-Demon and escaped using the Dimension Talisman. Qingtan, who had been following, intercepted Lin Langtian.

Discovering he possessed the Dimension Talisman, she tearfully questioned if he had been lying to her all along. Lin Langtian explained he had to hide it due to her deep sibling bond with Lin Dong, but claimed his promises to her were true and that he would eliminate Yi-Demons and protect her. Lin Dong arrived, and Lin Langtian forced Qingtan to choose between her biological brother and him.

Qingtan, after a moment of heartfelt reflection on her deep bond with Lin Dong, declared that both her brother and Lin Langtian were the most important people to her, and begged them to stop fighting. Lin Langtian acknowledged Qingtan's improved cultivation, but when she firmly stated she liked him but would never allow him to hurt her older brother, he grimly accepted that she would now treat him as an enemy.

Lin Langtian then tried to kill Lin Dong, but Qingtan bravely intervened, fighting against Lin Langtian to protect her brother. Just then, the Prince and his guards arrived, and one of the guards accused Qingtan of being an Yi-Demon. Lin Langtian seized the opportunity to denounce Lin Dong for colluding with an Yi-Demon, claiming he had no right to the Clan Storage. The guards prepared to attack Qingtan.

At that critical moment, the true Yi-Demon, Sixth Prince, appeared, taking advantage of the chaos to snatch the Ice Talisman. Lin Dong, already wounded, was overpowered. Huanhuan rushed to Lin Dong's side, retrieving the Ice Talisman. Despite the Ice Master's warning that her cultivation was insufficient to control the ancestral talisman, Huanhuan defiantly activated it to protect Lin Dong. The Yi-Demon was frozen, but Huanhuan collapsed from the effort.

Lin Dong caught her, and they shared a poignant moment, with Huanhuan weakly asking if she had been powerful. The Prince's guards, still misinterpreting the events, accused Lin Dong of conspiring with Yi-Demons and endangering the Prince, ordering his arrest and the retrieval of the talisman. Qingtan stepped forward, vehemently defending her brother, reminding the Lin Clan elders that they had falsely accused him before, yet he still sacrificed for the clan.

Lin Dong confronted Lin Langtian, demanding to know how he could slander Qingtan, who affectionately called him "Brother Lang." Lin Langtian coldly stated that he must be ruthless when dealing with anything related to Yi-Demons. Lin Dong questioned his lack of guilt, even head-butting him in frustration. In a heartbreaking act of self-sacrifice, Qingtan declared herself an Yi-Demon, taking all the blame to exonerate Lin Dong.

She proclaimed that all sins and debts originated and would end with her, urging them to attack her instead. As the situation escalated, a goddess appeared, cleansing the area. When everyone regained consciousness, they found themselves in a different location, and Qingtan was gone. Xiao Diao informed Lin Dong that he had seen a woman in black clothes.

Meanwhile, Lin Langtian argued with the Clan Chief, who condemned him for slandering Qingtan and destroying the Lin Clan's opportunity for resurgence, all for selfish reasons. Lin Langtian angrily questioned why only Lin Dong could represent the clan, asserting his own long-standing status as a Yuan Gate disciple. The Clan Chief, suspicious of Lin Langtian's rapid advancement to the Luck Creation Rank, demanded to know who was controlling him and his true intentions.

He offered to overlook Lin Langtian's hidden schemes if he would simply give Lin Dong a chance for the clan's future. Lin Langtian furiously refused, questioning why he should yield to Lin Dong. As he raged, a cold energy emanated from him, similar to Qingtan's Yi-Demon energy. The Clan Chief, horrified, confronted him, demanding to know if he too was an Yi-Demon. Lin Langtian killed the Clan Chief. Mu Qianqian appeared, further inciting Lin Langtian, telling him he had done the right thing and now had no path of retreat from their grand plan to eliminate demons.
