Lin Dong remained outside Qiwu Tower, patiently waiting for Master Yan. Little Marten informed him about the hundreds of rare medicinal ingredients within the tower, specifically mentioning a very rare medicine called "extremely evil Yin Dragon Saliva" found in the treasure pavilion. Little Marten suggested this medicine could cure Qingtan's cold toxin, and proposed they get some of Qingtan's energy and then steal it from Qiwu Tower under the cover of night.

Lin Dong flatly refused, reminding Little Marten that his yuan-stones had been confiscated and he had nothing now. Soon after, Old Fourteenth approached Lin Dong, stating someone wished to see him. It was Ying Huanhuan, who was browsing items nearby. A seller recommended a "Heart Wrapping Mirror" to her, claiming it could reveal one's fated person. When Ying Huanhuan tried it, to her surprise, Lin Dong appeared in the reflection. She quickly dismissed it as a trick.

Ying Huanhuan then suggested Lin Dong join her at Dao Sect, offering to have her father take him in. However, Lin Dong asserted that he only desired to cure Qingtan and rely on her, not wishing to be taken in by anyone or cause trouble. Pitying his words, Ying Huanhuan agreed to accompany him the following day to search for Master Yan again.

Lin Dong playfully asked if she was being so kind because she liked him, to which she indignantly told him to "go away." The next day, Lin Dong and Ying Huanhuan arrived at Qiwu Tower. Lin Dong immediately knelt at the entrance, loudly calling for Master Yan and declaring he would remain there until he appeared.

Ying Huanhuan, exasperated by the public display, gave Lin Dong some Yang Yuan Stones and instructed him to wait in Yan City for three days. She announced her intention to return to Dao Sect to borrow the Sect Leader Tablet from her father, believing that Master Yan would not dare disobey an invitation from Dao Sect. Lin Dong questioned her reliance on her father, but she curtly told him to stop meddling.

Back at Dao Sect, Ying Huanhuan anticipated her father would not willingly lend the tablet, so she decided to steal it rather than face embarrassment. She was caught by her senior brother, Wu Dao, who then reported to Sect Leader Ying Xuanzi. Ying Xuanzi revealed that he was already aware of her actions and knew the person she intended to help was the chosen one of the Talismans Guild.

He saw this as an opportunity to secure a future ally and instructed Wu Dao to accompany Ying Huanhuan down the mountain to look after her. That evening, Qingtan's cold toxin intensified dramatically, causing an extreme chill that permeated the entire inn. Lin Dong desperately held her, placing the Ancestral Stone in her hands.

Little Marten emerged, gravely stating that Qingtan's dark aura was worsening and Lin Dong's small amount of qi would not save her; only the Yin Dragon Saliva from Qiwu Tower could cure her, otherwise, Qingtan would not last much longer. Reluctantly, Lin Dong agreed, and the two headed to Qiwu Tower. At the tower, Little Marten used a Fire-Crossing Decree to bypass the strong enchantment, warping them inside.

Once inside, Little Marten quickly scooped up some valuable treasures while Lin Dong also grabbed a weapon. At the same time, the doors to the treasure pavilion automatically closed, and the walls began to compress inward. Master Yan, who had been anticipating this intrusion, rushed back to the Qiwu Tower, excitedly proclaiming that a "big fish" had finally entered his net.

Inside the collapsing room, Lin Dong used the newly acquired sleeve arrows to shoot upwards, creating an escape route for himself and Little Marten. Unknown to them, Master Yan and Xuan Su were observing their movements. Master Yan, enjoying the spectacle, instructed Xuan Su to "tease that lad" and "chase, but not capture," likening it to a cat playing with a mouse. During their hurried escape, Little Marten accidentally dropped some of the treasures he had taken.

Lin Dong, furious, kicked the items away, blaming Little Marten for getting them lost in the labyrinthine Qiwu Tower. Xuan Su, reflecting on Lin Dong's unexpected strength during the chase, noted that his actual cultivation level was only Heavenly Yuan, suggesting he must have received help. Meanwhile, Qingtan awakened to find her Fire-Python Tiger diligently guarding her. She immediately instructed the tiger to go to Qiwu Tower and rescue Lin Dong, promising to wait for them.

Shortly after, Lin Langtian encountered Qingtan, who, still distressed, informed him that Lin Dong had broken into Qiwu Tower to save her, and she was terribly worried. Lin Langtian calmed her, assured her he would find Lin Dong, and then departed for Qiwu Tower. Using the power of the Ancestral Stone, Lin Dong and Little Marten found themselves in another treasure pavilion. There, Lin Dong inadvertently discovered a tablet displaying the "Divine Movement Record."

Little Marten seemed to find something he truly needed, but Lin Dong mistakenly believed it to be the Yin Dragon Saliva and snatched it. Just then, Xuan Su, accompanied by her guards, appeared and blocked their exit. Lin Dong attempted to reason with her, explaining Qingtan's life-or-death situation and his desperate need to "borrow" the medicine.

Xuan Su, however, dismissed his pleas, calling him a rascal, and declared that allowing him to come and go as he pleased would ruin her reputation. Lin Dong argued that only they and Little Marten knew, so her reputation wouldn't be harmed. Unmoved, Xuan Su demanded he return the stolen item and apologize. Lin Dong, calling her "stingy," threw the medicine to the ground. Xuan Su then attacked Lin Dong, knocking him down.

At that critical moment, the Fire-Python Tiger dramatically burst through a wall, creating an escape path. It then swiftly scooped up the fallen medicine, which Little Marten identified as the Yin Dragon Saliva, and carried both Lin Dong and Little Marten out of the Qiwu Tower to safety.
