Meanwhile, a servant, seeing the deadline approaching, sharpened his knife to execute Li Chuyue.
To save herself, Li Chuyue bluffed that she had poisoned his wine with her unique Black Death Poison, which required an antidote within the hour. She pointed to powder on his palm as "evidence." Terrified, the servant untied her to get the antidote. Just as he did, An Jingzhao arrived. The servant begged for the antidote, and Li Chuyue jokingly told him to eat dirt.
After An Jingzhao dismissed the servant, Li Chuyue explained she had only tricked him after noticing some powder already on his hand. An Jingzhao praised her resourcefulness.
