> Hello, the Sharpshooter Recap
A package arrived containing a pet, and Tang Xin, having missed the animal, excitedly greeted "Dongzao." Seeing Tang Xin’s happiness, Shen Qingyuan seized the opportunity to peek at her notepads, where he found sketches depicting their moments together. Delighted, he drew a beard on his caricature in one of her sketches, explaining he wanted to grow old with her.
Tang Xin reminded him that growing old together meant overcoming many challenges, and he reassured her, promising to keep his word as he always had. Meanwhile, after his initial attempts to contact a woman named Ai failed, Zhou Zuguang began tailing a TV station executive, Xu Dian. He photographed Xu Dian being intimate with a new anchor and sent the pictures to Ai, who immediately agreed to meet him.
Tang Xin called Ding Fang, updating her that she and Shen Qingyuan were now in Yongcheng. Ding Fang expressed pride, believing that only Tang Xin could truly help Shen Qingyuan move forward. Having counseled numerous athletes, Ding Fang noted that their psychological issues are often more severe than those of ordinary people, emphasizing the importance of therapy that involves repeatedly facing traumas until the fear of the memories subsides.
Later, while Shen Qingyuan was washing up, Tang Xin left him a note explaining that the necklace he gave her had fallen off on a mountain path. She went back alone to search for it, and Shen Qingyuan immediately rushed after her upon reading the note. As night fell, two menacing men approached the frightened Tang Xin, suggesting her friend had abandoned her. She insisted Shen Qingyuan would return, and just then, he arrived and embraced her tightly.
Tang Xin, overjoyed, reiterated her unwavering belief that he would come for her. Shen Qingyuan then told her that no matter what she lost in the future, she must never lose herself. Tang Xin then took Shen Qingyuan to the spot where, years ago, she had waited for him to watch a fireworks show. She recalled sending him an invitation he never saw, causing him to miss it.
He later promised to make it up to her with a special fireworks display in the mountains, but their car accident occurred on the way there. Shen Qingyuan apologized for unintentionally hurting her, but Tang Xin acknowledged her own fault for not communicating more directly. He vowed to arrange an even more beautiful fireworks display for her, though Tang Xin gently reminded him that being with him was more important than the fireworks.
After taking a photo together, Shen Qingyuan drew an analogy between life and a target in shooting, explaining that one must first resolve the 99% of external factors before the central 1% goal naturally falls into place. The next morning, they exchanged affectionate greetings and "I love yous," and he declared he was ready to return to his team and fulfill his commitments. At a class reunion, Zhou Zuguang and Ding Fang were teased by their classmates.
Afterward, Ding Fang cautioned Zhou Zuguang not to let his career compromise his health. However, Zhou Zuguang revealed he had been following a new female anchor, which angered Ding Fang. She accused him of reverting to old habits, referencing a past incident with an intern that had nearly ruined his career. Zhou vehemently denied any romantic involvement with the intern, asserting it was merely professional disappointment when she left abruptly.
He then countered by accusing Ding Fang of being seen leaving a hotel with another man years ago. Ding Fang tearfully explained that the man was Shen Qingyuan's father, who had come to apologize after Shen Qingyuan refused to see her for counseling following his accident. She revealed that Zhou Zuguang's misunderstanding had caused him to become cold and distant for years, even avoiding physical intimacy.
Feeling deeply wronged by his lack of trust, Ding Fang admitted that a lawyer named Li was currently pursuing her, though she had no interest in him. She concluded there was no point in revisiting their past, but Zhou Zuguang pleaded with her, saying he did not want a divorce. As the Chinese New Year approached, Shen Qingyuan prepared to meet Tang Xin's parents.
They rehearsed the encounter in their hotel room, using a "50 Questions for Meeting Your In-laws" list they found online and playfully debating who initiated their relationship before agreeing to support each other. After buying gifts, a nervous Tang Xin fussed over Shen Qingyuan's tie, trying a Young Pioneer's scarf knot before removing the tie completely.
When the door opened, Shen Qingyuan bowed deeply, only to be met by the laughter of Tang Xin's brother, Tang Liqi, who greeted him as "brother-in-law," prompting Tang Xin to playfully kick him. Tang Xin's mother warmly welcomed Shen Qingyuan, praising his tall stature. After measuring him, she presented him with a sweater she had knitted for Tang Liqi but had accidentally made too large, remarking that it now fit Shen Qingyuan perfectly.
Declaring him her "other son," she was delighted when Shen Qingyuan promptly called her "Mom." In response, Tang Xin playfully demanded a traditional gift for the new form of address. Her father soon arrived with groceries and greeted Shen Qingyuan with great enthusiasm. Shen Qingyuan observed how harmonious their family was, calling it "our family," which Tang Xin playfully corrected. Later, Tang Xin discreetly asked her brother if he was angry that Shen Qingyuan was her ex-boyfriend.
Tang Liqi reassured her that he understood Shen Qingyuan’s disappearance was due to amnesia, not abandonment. He reasoned that a man who would never leave his teammates behind, even when injured, would certainly never abandon the person he loves. Tang Xin was relieved by his understanding, and the family enjoyed a warm, joyful dinner together.
