A man in black, wearing a mask, suddenly accosted Tang Xin, repeatedly calling her "Livestreamer Tang." He accused her of ignoring the many letters he had sent to express his affection. Frightened, Tang Xin screamed for help. Shen Qingyuan, hearing her distress over the phone, quickly arrived and startled the man away. Shen Qingyuan embraced Tang Xin anxiously, but she, still shaken, immediately picked up a deformed cake from the ground, intent on taking it home.
That evening, Tang Xin nervously watched an angry Shen Qingyuan, who silently applied an ice pack to her injured wrist. To soothe him, she tenderly kissed his cheek, but his stern expression didn't change. Tang Xin quickly produced the cake, explaining that despite its damaged appearance, it was to celebrate his admission to the national training team, which was why she was two hours late.
She apologized for causing him worry, but Shen Qingyuan refused to eat it and retreated to his room. Left alone, Tang Xin recalled past instances when her recklessness had angered him, like when she climbed a tree and injured her hand, knowing how difficult he was to appease. The team immediately and enthusiastically began addressing her as "Mrs. Shen." Meanwhile, Du Lingfeng sought out Shi Xiaoci to apologize for his previous insensitive comments.
However, Shi Xiaoci turned the tables, apologizing to him instead and citing a mood swing due to her period. She adopted a more formal tone, addressing him as "Mr. Du," creating a new distance between them. Du Lingfeng attempted to rekindle their previous easygoing, "elastic" dynamic, and while Shi Xiaoci verbally agreed, her guarded demeanor suggested no further romantic progress. The photo albums featuring Shen Qingyuan and Du Lingfeng proved to be a massive success.
Ding Fang called Zhou Zuguang to congratulate him but also to press him about their marriage. She reminded him of their initial connection on the Skywalk in Chamonix, where a shared moment of fear led to a misunderstanding of their feelings. Later, the coach announced remarkable improvements in the team's physical test results ahead of winter training. Shen Qingyuan then feigned motion sickness to get closer to her.
Tang Xin, falling for the act, offered him remedies and eventually allowed him to rest his head on her shoulder. However, hearing the stifled giggles from the boys behind her, Tang Xin realized he was faking. She scolded him for being disruptive, but he playfully argued that shooters are trained for anti-interference. Later, a producer asked Tang Xin to select photos of Shen Qingyuan and Du Lingfeng for social media promotion.
As Tang Xin browsed, Tang Liqi teased her for smiling at Shen Qingyuan's pictures. Shen Qingyuan playfully offered his real face for her to admire. Feigning disinterest, Tang Xin claimed she was selecting Du Lingfeng's photos for a nine-grid post. Jealous, Shen Qingyuan found fault with every one of Du Lingfeng's photos, demanding their deletion for reasons like poor lighting, silly expressions, or being "too sexy."
To distract her, he had her play a game and, while she was engrossed, stealthily deleted the rest of Du Lingfeng's photos. When Tang Xin finally realized, only one remained. Upon arrival at the base, they found another team, the Southeast shooting team, was also there. Their captain, Zhou Yue, greeted Shen Qingyuan, acknowledging a previous encounter where Shen Qingyuan had been cold and arrogant.
Du Lingfeng also arrived late, seen on the phone with his father discussing his reasons for attending the training and his father's concerns about his age for a shooting career. Meanwhile, Tang Liqi pointed out a TV crew and representatives from Zhengdao Media, including the well-known commentator Xu Dian. The coach then announced that the province had sent two high-level teams for winter training and future exchange matches.
