After the graduate student invigilators finished, they had to take the exam papers to a classroom and wait for the professor to collect them. Because Tong Nian had already made Han Shangyan wait outside for an hour, she brought Han Shangyan with her to sit in the classroom and wait for the professor.
Other graduate students in the same year, seeing Tong Nian shyly holding flowers, began to discuss, saying that the class monitor and Zheng Hui's secret love had come to an end.
