After Cai Minmin got in the car, she stopped pretending to be strong and started crying on the bus. At Ye Luming's home, Ye Luming woke up Cai Minmin, who was still sleeping, to eat breakfast together. Seeing Cai Minmin looking unhappy, Ye Luming was a bit worried. Ye Luming analyzed why Cai Minmin was rejected. Cai Minmin cheered up and decided to wait until Yuan Song broke up, then seize the opportunity.
Ye Luming told Cai Minmin to find out who Yuan Song liked, saying 'know yourself and your enemy, and you will never be defeated'. He Fanxing asked Yuan Song to come out. He Fanxing told him that this was her first relationship and she knew nothing about dating. She proposed the idea of a secret relationship. Yuan Song's face changed.
He felt that if they had a secret relationship, no one would know when they were dating, and no one would know when they broke up. Having a secret relationship was like having an affair. Yuan Song rejected this proposal and left without looking back. That night, Ye Luming learned that Yuan Song had rejected He Fanxing and happily started dancing at home. Cai Minmin was startled.
He Fanxing couldn't sleep in the middle of the night and went to the living room for water. He Fanxing's mother happened to be in the living room too. He Fanxing then hypotheticalized about a secret relationship with her mother. Her mother thought that the blind date from yesterday had requested it from He Fanxing and was immediately furious, thinking that the blind date wanted to find a hidden lover and that secrecy was irresponsible.
Her mother was very worried about He Fanxing and urged her not to resort to desperate measures. If she didn't meet someone she liked, then she shouldn't get married. When Chang Huan came to the company, his eye injury was seen by the receptionist colleague Deng Qingqing. At the restaurant, Ye Luming acted like he and He Fanxing were close confidantes who could talk about anything. He asked about He Fanxing and Yuan Song's situation. He Fanxing decided to take a step back. Ye Luming said that the person who loves more is the one who steps back first, implying He Fanxing liked Yuan Song more than he liked her. That night, He Fanxing came to Yuan Song's home and said that she still liked him.
Yuan Song, however, was aggressive towards He Fanxing. He Fanxing was a bit angry and was about to leave when Yuan Song pulled her back. Yuan Song suddenly agreed to He Fanxing's request for secrecy, but only for three months. If their relationship went well, He Fanxing would have to make their relationship public. In the morning, He Fanxing came to the company and greeted Yuan Song.
Yuan Song teased He Fanxing a few times and quietly slipped her a note and some candy. He Fanxing blushed when she saw it and was mistaken by a colleague for having a fever. He Fanxing couldn't explain herself and quickly said she also had medicine. While Ye Luming and Cai Minmin were eating, Cai Minmin and Ye Luming both received news that the person they liked was in a relationship.
Both kept quiet about it, but they both felt depressed. He Canyang called Cai Minmin's friend Liu Zhanni and asked about Cai Minmin's situation. He Canyang looked at Yuan Song's Moments. When he went back, he ran into He Fanxing and showed her the photos from Yuan Song's Moments.
