He still remembered that when he was young, he had deliberately learned a song to present to his father, but was met with scolding. Not only that, his father even executed all the maids by his side. Dongfang Qingcang resented his father and, in a moment of impulse, drew his sword and rushed before him, but still couldn’t bring himself to strike.

As she spoke, she began attempting the restoration and finally learned of Dongfang Qingcang’s past. Orchid was heartbroken, nearly fainting. She continued to search the sleeping palace and finally found a qin among the ruins—one that Dongfang Qingcang had gifted the old Moon Supreme. The instrument bore signs of repair and had been placed nearest the bedside by the old Moon Supreme.

Orchid believed this showed he did love his son. They also found a wooden ball. Orchid recalled hearing from the palace elders that Dongfang Qingcang liked playing with wooden balls as a child, while Xun Feng did not. The fact that this ball was kept with the qin and preserved with care was enough to show the father cherished his son.

He lifted his sleeve and, sure enough, found a wound—caused by something sharp scraping his skin, revealing crimson blood. His heart clenched, and worry appeared on his face. Jie Li nervously watched the whirlpool below—Orchid had been inside for two hours. She feared something might have happened to her. Dongfang Qingcang arrived and leapt into the whirlpool.

Meanwhile, Orchid was traveling through a dark passage where glowing primordial spirits flew past her. Orchid was overjoyed—she had finally reached the Xuanxu Realm. She cautiously entered the hall where a primordial spirit hovered around her. Orchid quickly took out the Burning Rhinos Flower to summon the old Moon Supreme’s spirit. Just as she was about to proceed, Dongfang Qingcang suddenly appeared and stopped her. Ignoring Dongfang Qingcang’s opposition and fury, Orchid insisted on awakening the old Moon Supreme’s spirit.

Fortunately, she succeeded. The moment the old Moon Supreme spoke, he asked if Dongfang Qingcang had conquered the Immortal Realm and restored the Moon Tribe’s glory. Orchid didn’t answer but instead held up the qin for the old Moon Supreme to identify. Of course, he recognized it—it was the one he had personally destroyed and repaired.
