When it was time for the meal, Orchid remembered her recent experiences in Cangyan Sea and began to suspect the food might all be raw and bloody. But when she saw the dishes served, she couldn’t help but drool and immediately took a bite. Dongfang Qingcang coughed beside her to remind her, and she quickly ordered everyone to leave, narrowly avoiding exposing herself.

Dongfang Qingcang tried to teach Orchid how to eat properly, but she was unwilling to learn and even accused him of betraying everyone around him. With no choice, Dongfang Qingcang sat down and prepared to eat alone. Unexpectedly, Orchid ordered the food to be taken away, leaving Dongfang Qingcang hungry. Worried Orchid might expose herself, Dongfang Qingcang stayed close to her at all times. That day’s agenda was to discuss a plan to counterattack the Heavenly Realm.

Orchid couldn't help but grumble inwardly—Dongfang Qingcang had just returned from there and was already plotting a return invasion. She thought him utterly shameless. Distracted, Orchid perked up when she heard the Moon Tribe intended to kill all gods and even uproot every single blade of grass. Enraged, she slammed the table and stormed down to throw the plan into the fire. Dongfang Qingcang quickly tried to smooth things over, temporarily avoiding suspicion.

When it was time for bathing, Orchid, worried about her body being defiled, volunteered to scrub herself and covered Dongfang Qingcang’s eyes. Unbeknownst to them, someone saw the scene. Orchid asked about the ministers from earlier and learned that they all wanted to compete with Xun Feng and were each harboring ambitious schemes. As to why they hadn’t been punished, Dongfang Qingcang said he was trying to root out the traitor.

Noticing Dongfang Qingcang’s odd behavior over the past few days, Xun Feng grew suspicious and suggested a duel to test the truth. Orchid and Dongfang Qingcang tried everything to avoid it, but Xun Feng suddenly scolded “Orchid” and ordered him out. Now that Dongfang Qingcang was in Orchid’s body, he had no authority to protest and subtly signaled Orchid to ask Shang Que for help. Luckily, Orchid understood the hint and avoided the duel.

However, this only confirmed Xun Feng’s suspicion: the current Moon Supreme was not the real Dongfang Qingcang, and the true one was the flower spirit standing beside him. That night, he rushed to inform the Haishi Lord. Since Orchid had been taken away, Lord Yunzhong had tightened security at Yongquan Palace and forbade Lord Changheng from leaving. Though he was worried about Orchid, Changheng was helpless, bound to the palace and growing increasingly anxious.

Danyin brought him fruits and expressed her belief that Orchid wasn’t a traitor. If there were a way to rescue her, she promised to help wholeheartedly. Overjoyed to find someone who also believed in Orchid, Changheng suddenly thought of a way to sneak out unnoticed. He swapped bodies with Danyin and walked out openly. This was Danyin’s most recent contact with Changheng, and she was inevitably excited. But then Liyuan arrived, and Danyin reflexively called him “Father.”

Liyuan was surprised, but Danyin quickly corrected herself. The two talked about Orchid, and while Danyin suspected she was from the Xilan tribe, Liyuan said he had checked and confirmed she definitely wasn’t. Danyin felt a bit pleased—if Orchid wasn’t of the Xilan tribe, perhaps the image on the Destiny Books tree was fake. Just after sending Liyuan away, Rong Hao arrived.

Rong Hao knew Lord Changheng better than anyone, and Danyin worried she’d give herself away in front of him, so she hurried to dismiss him. Rong Hao sensed something and suddenly stepped closer to “Changheng,” frightening Danyin. No matter how she tried to cover it up, she couldn’t fool Rong Hao and had to tell him the full truth. Meanwhile, Dongfang Qingcang and Orchid finally awaited the thunderstorm, but encountered the Haishi Lord.

As the Lord’s dark energy rushed forward, Dongfang Qingcang shielded Orchid with his body. But the dark energy couldn’t reach them because Lord Changheng stood in front of them. Seeing him suddenly cough up blood, Orchid rushed over. Just as she was about to touch Changheng, Dongfang Qingcang pushed her away. The Haishi Lord’s expression was unreadable, but his eyes clearly showed shock and concern. Die Yi tried to kill Changheng, but the Haishi Lord stopped her. Changheng turned back, wanting to take Orchid home—but the person before him was not the one he held dear.
