Upon receiving the wedding invitation from the Demon Realm, Moon Immortal was enraged by Xu Feng's decision to marry Sui He. He confronted Xu Feng, admonishing him for being muddle-headed. Moon Immortal insisted that while Sui He managed to preserve a fragment of Xu Feng's soul, it was Jin Mi who risked her life to obtain the Nine Golden Elixir, which truly resurrected him.

However, Xu Feng dismissed Moon Immortal’s words, accusing Jin Mi of manipulating him and conspiring with Run Yu. He sternly declared that Sui He was the one who saved him and remained by his side when he had nothing. Xu Feng affirmed that his decision to marry Sui He was final, and from that moment on, his heart and eyes would only be for her, with Jin Mi having no bearing on his life.

When Moon Immortal attempted to reveal that Sui He was the true murderer of Water Immortal and Wind God, Xu Feng cut him off, stating he had important matters and would not be swayed. He added that if Moon Immortal was unwilling to preside over the wedding, he would not force him. Meanwhile, a Nether Fury erupted in the Wangchuan River, prompting Liu Ying to alert Xu Feng.

She suspected someone was forcing Mu Ci to forge a Spirit-Vanishing Arrow, a task his current health could not endure, and feared it might be intended for Xu Feng. Xu Feng immediately suspected the King of Gu City and dispatched demon soldiers to search for Mu Ci. During the search, Liu Ying observed Xu Feng's quiet demeanor, sensing he was still troubled by Moon Immortal's revelations.

Xu Feng, however, believed Jin Mi was using Moon Immortal to sow discord between him and Sui He. Liu Ying countered that Moon Immortal was not easily manipulated and there might be more to the story. She confessed that, between Sui He and Jin Mi, she had more faith in Jin Mi and speculated that Xu Feng was resisting the truth because he was afraid to confront the fact that Jin Mi had saved his life.

Xu Feng admitted his fear that Jin Mi’s claims were true, recalling her words that Sui He was the murderer of Water Immortal and Wind God. He grappled with this, as Sui He had reportedly expended much of her magic power saving him, making it difficult for him to believe she possessed the potent Glazed Pure Fire used in the murders. Xu Feng and Liu Ying eventually discovered a magical barrier, indicating Mu Ci was likely trapped nearby.

Inside, Mu Ci, weakened but determined, had finally completed the Spirit-Vanishing Arrow. The King of Gu City, disguised as Liu Ying, appeared to retrieve it. Mu Ci saw through the ruse when the imposter couldn’t answer what special day June 6th was. Realizing it was the King of Gu City, Mu Ci used the newly forged Spirit-Vanishing Arrow to wound him, causing the King of Gu City to perish into ashes.

Xu Feng and Liu Ying found the scene, deducing that Mu Ci had killed the King of Gu City and must still be alive and nearby. News of Xu Feng’s impending marriage to Sui He had spread throughout the six realms. Jin Mi, despite everything, found herself unable to move on from him. Run Yu found her, noticing her hands were cold.

He gently explained that while two cold people could find warmth together without harming each other, winter snow and summer sun were fundamentally incompatible. Jin Mi, hearing this, withdrew her hand. Run Yu mentioned that the fifteenth of next month, the day of Xu Feng and Sui He's wedding and the blooming of the first spring flower, would be an auspicious day for marriage. Jin Mi, seemingly resigned, proposed that she and Run Yu also marry on that day.

Overjoyed, Run Yu embraced her. Jin Mi, however, secretly thought that if at least two out of three people could find happiness, it would be a form of completeness. Run Yu, still elated, later told Kuang Lu that Jin Mi had agreed to marry him. He asked Kuang Lu to procure high-quality Chengxintang Paper for him to personally write invitations to the Floral Chiefs for their wedding, hoping they would all attend.

On the sixth day of the sixth lunar month, the designated wedding day for Liu Ying and Mu Ci, Liu Ying, despite no news of Mu Ci, had prepared Qingtian Cave, their "place of affection," believing he would keep his promise. King of Bian City and Xu Feng arrived. King of Bian City expressed his worry that Mu Ci was likely dead and didn't want his daughter to suffer from longing.

However, Liu Ying firmly stated that Mu Ci was a man of his word and would not break his promise. Just then, a gravely injured Mu Ci arrived, barely clinging to life. He reaffirmed his love for Liu Ying and his promise. They held a simple ceremony, with King of Bian City and Xu Feng as witnesses. Mu Ci recalled that Qingtian Cave was where Liu Ying had first boldly kissed him.

Liu Ying, in turn, told him that she had always been the one to take the initiative, but from now on, she wished for him to be the one. Mu Ci, with his remaining strength, kissed her, fulfilling her wish. As he leaned against her, Mu Ci slowly faded into ashes. Liu Ying wept, revealing that she was pregnant with their child, but Mu Ci could no longer hear her.

She spoke of their future plans for their child, including having King of Bian City name him and Xu Feng become his godfather, ensuring no one would dare to bully him. Moon Immortal found himself in a predicament, having received wedding invitations from both Xu Feng and Run Yu, each asking him to preside over their respective ceremonies. Yan You teased Moon Immortal about his newfound popularity across the realms.

Moon Immortal lamented that he detested mismatched unions, yet the current romantic entanglement involving the four individuals was beyond chaotic. He proposed to Yan You that they "correct this mistake," to which Yan You responded, "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. . . Grape belongs to Crow." Meanwhile, Tai Si Immortal, noticing Kuang Lu's subdued spirits regarding Run Yu's upcoming wedding, advised her not to torment herself.

He met with Run Yu, proposing that Kuang Lu be allowed to leave and gain experience elsewhere, and that she might find a suitable marriage. Kuang Lu, however, arrived unexpectedly and, with her father as a witness, declared her unwavering loyalty and devotion to Run Yu, vowing to follow him until her dying breath.
