Today was the Heavenly Emperor and Heavenly Empress's birthday banquet, but Run Yu was not in a hurry to go. The Wind Deity and The Water Immortal also came together to offer congratulations. Jin Mi felt particularly close looking at The Water Immortal, but Yan You commented that The Water Immortal's personality was too aloof and cold. Jin Mi overheard someone nearby saying that the reason for such a grand display at the Heavenly Emperor and Heavenly Empress's birthday banquet was to finalize Xu Feng's marriage.
When Jin Mi learned that Xu Feng needed to take a consort and marry, her chest inexplicably began to ache again. Yan You told Jin Mi that although Xu Feng was a prince, his marriage was completely out of his hands. The Heavenly Emperor and the Heavenly Empress both appeared at the banquet. In an instant, everyone's gaze focused on them, and everyone together bowed in congratulations for her birthday.
Run Yu separately offered his birthday greetings to the Heavenly Emperor and Heavenly Empress at the banquet. The Heavenly Emperor and The Water Immortal saw that Jin Mi's appearance was extremely similar to the late Flower Deity, Zi Fen, and were momentarily stunned. The Moon Immortal arrived in time.
After unlocking the Immortal Binding Lock on Jin Mi, he lied that Jin Mi was someone who grew up in Qiwu Palace. The Heavenly Emperor and The Water Immortal kept asking about Jin Mi's origin, and learned that she was indeed a person from the Water Mirror in the Flower Realm. While the two of them were momentarily distracted, The Moon Immortal eased the atmosphere, thus skipping the stage of interrogating Jin Mi.
The Heavenly Emperor, to distract the Heavenly Empress, had Sui He perform the Rainbow Feather Dance for the Heavenly Empress. The Heavenly Empress was greatly pleased and arranged for her to be seated beside Xu Feng's table. Xu Feng and Sui He sat close together, looking like a perfect pair.
The Heavenly Emperor and Heavenly Empress saw them whispering to each other and praised them, saying they looked like the scene in a painting in their side palace, named "Perfect Match." Upon hearing this, Jin Mi suddenly remembered seeing this painting in The Moon Immortal's Celestial Fragrance Scroll and speculated that Sui He had undergone dual cultivation with Xu Feng. These words immediately angered Sui He.
She accused Jin Mi of talking nonsense, but Jin Mi did not understand the true meaning of dual cultivation and even suggested she wanted to consult with Sui He about it. The Heavenly Emperor and Heavenly Empress were furious and ordered the Lord of Thunder and the Mother of Lightning to drag Jin Mi out and execute her.
