Oda Hiroshi saw Xie Xiang playing with the golden seal through the crack in the door. She hurried in, showing concern for Xie Xiang. Xie Xiang quickly hid the golden seal. Huo Xiaoyu found an excuse to leave. She brushed past Oda Hiroshi at the hospital entrance. Oda Hiroshi came to visit Shen Junshan in his ward, subtly inquiring about the reasons and circumstances of them being pursued by the Japanese.
Oda Hiroshi couldn't wait to ask about the golden seal being in Xie Xiang's hand and quickly found an excuse to leave. She went directly to Xie Xiang's ward, offered to pour her water, and pretended to accidentally spill the remaining water on her quilt. Xie Xiang looked for a fruit knife in her bag and suddenly discovered that the golden seal was missing. She and Tan Xiaojun searched the room thoroughly but couldn't find it.
Xie Xiang went through everyone who had visited her ward today and suspected that Oda Hiroshi had stolen the golden seal. Shen Junshan took Qu Manting home and unintentionally saw a few people pushing and shoving Gu Yanzhen. Huo Xiaoyu came to the church to find Cheng Rui Beile. The two of them exchanged money for the golden seal. Huo Xiaoyu no longer wanted to continue cooperating with him, worried that he was Tian Dan attempting to restore his state.
Oda Hiroshi met with James on time. James checked and found that the golden seal was actually a fake. Oda Hiroshi was unwilling to admit defeat just like that and vowed to find the golden seal. She guessed that the golden seal was now in Cheng Rui Beile's hands and ordered her subordinates to prepare a generous gift to celebrate the Grand Princess Consort's birthday.
Qu Manting accompanied Gu Yanzhen for a drink to relieve his mood, guessing that he was jealous after seeing Shen Junshan and Xie Xiang together.
