Facing the emcee's inquiry, she naturally admitted that she had a boyfriend and graciously accepted everyone's blessings.

Feeling annoyed about encountering unpleasant people at the wedding, Zheng Shuyi shared her frustration with Shi Yan. Qin Shiyue came to Qing'an with Shi Yan, planning to ask Yu You to show her around. During the wedding banquet, Qin Lezhi intentionally ordered her boyfriend, Yue Xingzhou, in front of Zheng Shuyi. Shi Yan initially intended to ask Zheng Shuyi for an explanation about the day's events, but Zheng Shuyi, feeling remorse for flirting with the wrong person, naturally didn't provide much clarification. At this moment, Zheng Shuyi received a call from Qin Shiyue and promptly agreed to her invitation to soak in hot springs. On the way to meet Qin Shiyue, Zheng Shuyi called Bi Ruoshan for advice. She genuinely liked Shi Yan now and was afraid that he would leave her after discovering her deception. Although she wanted to explain, Bi Ruoshan suggested that Zheng Shuyi hide the truth and continue the current pace of her relationship with Shi Yan.

After meeting Zheng Shuyi, Qin Shiyue learned that she was now giving up on pursuing the uncle of the third party. Leaving the hot spring hotel, Zheng Shuyi unexpectedly met Shi Yan, who rushed there. At this moment, Zheng Shuyi also learned that Qin Shiyue was actually Shi Yan's niece. Shi Yan, asking about Zheng Shuyi's emotional setback, made her feel uneasy. Shi Yan sent away Qin Shiyue, once again questioning Zheng Shuyi about her emotional problems. Zheng Shuyi had to make up reasons, explaining that she had misunderstood Shi Yan's relationship with Qin Shiyue before, thinking they were a couple. Shi Yan, domineeringly, asked whether Zheng Shuyi liked him or her ex-boyfriend. Although Zheng Shuyi expressed her liking for Shi Yan, he still hoped she would only like him. Shi Yan knew Zheng Shuyi was hiding something, but regardless of her intentions, he wanted her to tell the truth.

Master Fan came to apologize to Shi Yan, feeling sorry for his niece Qin Lezhi for ruining Zheng Shuyi and Yue Xingzhou's relationship. He mentioned that Qin Lezhi admitted her mistake and broke up with Yue Xingzhou. Shi Yan asked Master Fan about the misunderstanding with Yue Xingzhou, and he realized Yue Xingzhou abandoned Zheng Shuyi because he believed Shi Yan was Qin Lezhi's uncle. Connecting the dots, Shi Yan speculated that Zheng Shuyi might be approaching him for revenge on her ex-boyfriend. To verify his suspicion, Shi Yan found Qin Lezhi, and with a few words, confirmed that Zheng Shuyi had indeed deceived him.

After contemplating, Zheng Shuyi decided to confess to Shi Yan. She arranged to meet him at the aquarium the next day. Qin Shiyue, suffering from stomach pain in the middle of the night, was promptly taken to the hospital by Shi Yan.
