Wei Ruolai came early in the morning to report to Shen Tunan. Shen Tunan noticed he had been distracted lately and reminded him not to take it lightly. He also said that if he couldn't pass the graduation exam, he would still be expelled. Before three o'clock, Lin Qiaosong personally led his men to set up an ambush in the Central Bank lobby.

Wei Ruolai took advantage of the empty office to take out the seal and safekeeping slip left by Wei Ruochuan. He came to the lobby and waited patiently. Shen Jinzhen saw that no one was around and wanted to take out the newspaper and make contact with Wei Ruolai, but Secretary Huang suddenly called out to Shen Jinzhen. Shen Jinzhen had to put the newspaper back in her bag. Wei Ruolai hailed a rickshaw and sent Shen Jinzhen away. Biaozi and Lin Qiaosong had been staking out outside the Central Bank. Biaozi became suspicious of Shen Jinzhen, as she had appeared at the underground party's contact points twice.

He advised Lin Qiaosong not to be blinded by emotion, but Lin Qiaosong had deep trust in Shen Jinzhen. Shen Jinzhen came to report back to Xu Nuo. She did not wait for Lone Star. Wei Ruolai came with the newspaper to make contact, but she did not have time to exchange the code phrase. Xu Nuo suspected that Wei Ruolai was a decoy set up by Lin Qiaosong and wanted to go and test him.

The more Lin Qiaosong thought about it, the more something felt off. He also became suspicious of Shen Jinzhen. He called the arsenal to confirm that Shen Jinzhen had gone to collect payments and confirmed that she had not lied. Lin Qiaosong sent Biaozi to buy a bouquet of yellow roses, as he wanted to go apologize to Shen Jinzhen. Lin Qiaosong also told Biaozi to notify Li Chengda to search Wei Ruolai's home.

Li Chengda came to Wei Ruolai's home under orders. He entered through the window to search and found a photo of Wei Ruolai and Wei Ruochuan together. Only then did he realize they were biological brothers. Wei Ruolai came home after work. Aunt Zhou asked him about the acquisition of Tongshang Bank and also asked him to help her relative promote office supplies.

Wei Ruolai was not in the mood for this and quickly sent her away with a few words. Wei Ruolai returned to his room. Li Chengda was waiting for him in the room. Wei Ruolai saw that the room had been ransacked and became wary of Li Chengda. Li Chengda did not find any clues in Wei Ruolai's room, only finding out that Wei Ruolai and Wei Ruochuan were biological brothers.
