Lin Ziyu was being hunted by Wanlu Sect, and she decided to use the Liuhe Sword as a bargaining chip to seek cooperation with Elder Chi. With the Liuhe Sword in Lin Ziyu's possession, Elder Chi was unwilling to give up, and only then did he reveal to her that Mingxuan was still alive.
