Yao Zhiming’s business collaboration with President Zheng is progressing smoothly. Mai Chenghuan, knowing that Xing'anli cannot compete with Botticelli in commercial events, takes Yao Zhiming’s advice and decides to launch a Shanghai-style wedding project at Xing'anli. She inadvertently learns that President Zheng is planning a wedding and visits her again, bringing a detailed, comprehensive wedding plan. President Zheng, in a rush to go on a business trip, promises to inspect Xing'anli after she returns.

Mai Chenghuan asks Maomao to customize a wedding jewelry set for President Zheng. Maomao readily agrees. With tight deadlines and heavy workload, Maomao works overtime designing the sketches but struggles to find inspiration. Mai Chengzao takes her out to spark ideas. It’s raining outside. They walk under an umbrella together. Mai Chengzao picks a romantic tune to share with her and deliberately splashes water. Maomao doesn’t back down and splashes back. They laugh and play all the way.

Mai Chengzao drops Maomao off at the store and goes to buy two cups of brown sugar ginger tea. The sight of raindrops suddenly inspires Maomao, and she hugs Mai Chengzao excitedly, unwilling to let go. When President Zheng returns, she visits Xing'anli first thing. Mai Chenghuan personally accompanies her, and Maomao delivers her design plan just in time. President Zheng is very satisfied and entrusts the entire wedding to Mai Chenghuan.

It’s Mai Chenghuan’s first big win, and she is ecstatic. Mai Chengzao accompanies Maomao to the hotel and dresses up specially. Mai Chenghuan senses something is off. Mai Chengzao makes random excuses. From their strange expressions, Mai Chenghuan realizes they are dating and quickly finds an excuse to leave. President Zheng invites Yao Zhiming to her wedding at Xing'anli. On the wedding day, Yao Zhiming arrives at the hotel on time. Mai Chenghuan is busy preparing for the wedding.

Everything goes smoothly, and Yao Zhiming is impressed by her. After the wedding, Yao Zhiming lingers. Mai Chenghuan offers watermelon to the staff to cool off and invites him to join. She shares amusing childhood stories about eating watermelon and even feeds Yao Zhiming herself. They laugh and eat together. Mai Chengzao takes many photos of Maomao, and she praises his photography skills endlessly. After a full day of work, Mai Chenghuan is exhausted.

Mai Chengzao comes to see her, shows concern, and wants to reveal his relationship with Maomao, but holds back in the end. Mai Chenghuan wants to buy a house for her parents. She finds several options and goes to view them with Liu Wanyu and Mai Laitian. Yao Zhiming learns they’re moving out of the old house and feels disappointed. With her successful wedding debut, Mai Chenghuan is determined to manage Xing'anli well.

Liao Gang questions her abilities and suspects her promises of salary increases and bonuses are empty talk. Mai Chenghuan, unwilling to explain further, agrees to their resignation. Housekeeper Cui advises Mai Chenghuan not to be upset. Business is slow and funds are tight. It’s understandable the staff are dissatisfied with their pay. Mai Chenghuan decides to use the house funds for emergency relief. Liu Wanyu is furious, but Mai Laitian persuades her to understand Mai Chenghuan’s difficulties.

Housekeeper Cui calls Yao Zhiming and tells him about the hotel’s situation. Yao Zhiming brings Liu Wanyu, Mai Chengzao, and Mai Laitian back home and urges them to stay at the old house. Mai Chengzao tells Mai Chenghuan about this. He sees that Yao Zhiming likes her, but she tries to hide it. After work, Mai Chenghuan returns to the old house. She hesitates at the door, wanting to explain things to Liu Wanyu.

Yao Zhiming returns from a night run. She thanks him, and he invites her to go fishing. Liu Wanyu, waiting at home, adds him on WeChat. The next morning, Yao Zhiming comes to pick up Mai Chenghuan. Mai Chengzao and Mai Laitian also happen to be going fishing, so the four of them go together.
