Snow Eagle Lord Episode 28 Recap
> Snow Eagle Lord Recap
Observing DongBo Xueying practicing his spear moves with fierce energy but no structure, Wu Cang and Yu Feng grew concerned. Wu Cang noted that DongBo Xueying's mind was in chaos and urged him to follow his heart to avoid future regrets. He argued that while taking a path known to be a dead end is foolish, not taking it when it means a lifetime of regret might be the right choice.
Inspired, DongBo Xueying, now resolved, told a confused Yu Feng that when one hesitates about doing something, the decision has already been made in their heart. Following this, DongBo Xueying had Yu Feng create a diversion for Xue Ruoshuang, allowing him to take Yu Jingqiu to the back mountain. There, he had built a treehouse identical to the one they shared under Black Wind Cliff and prepared grilled fish for her.
He explained his desire to create lasting, beautiful memories for her before she returned to the Moxue Empire. Deeply touched, Yu Jingqiu declared she would never forget him and even suggested not returning, but DongBo Xueying reminded her that going home is a cause for celebration. DongBo Xueying then voiced his regret for not rescuing his mother, Moyang Yu, sooner.
Yu Jingqiu offered a different perspective, reasoning that with Moyang Yu's Ancient Bloodline and former status as a supreme expert, it was unlikely she was being controlled by Moyang Chen, who wasn't even a Transcendent. She suggested Moyang Yu might be staying voluntarily, possibly aware of Moyang Chen's collusion with the Demon Clan and biding her time. This insight enlightened DongBo Xueying. He then gifted Yu Jingqiu a hairpin he had made, explaining it was a special device.
He instructed her to knock on it three times if she was ever in danger, and he would sense it and come to her aid, as he worried for her safety now that her identity as a goddess would likely become known to the Demon Clan. Meanwhile, Xue Ruoshuang discovered Yu Feng's deception and furiously attacked him. Sikong Yang arrived just in time to intervene.
Xue Ruoshuang vented her frustration, disapproving of the relationship between DongBo Xueying and Yu Jingqiu, a goddess of the Divine Realm. Sikong Yang countered that he had found Yu Jingqiu at the gates of Water Daoist Temple without knowing her true identity and that she had lived her entire life in the human world.
He argued that making decisions for her was cruel and that their deep feelings for each other had developed over time, so they needed a chance to adapt if they were to be separated. In The Council, Chi Qiubai reported that he had lost the trail of the bronze coffin.
He explained that his airflow-tracking spell couldn't be created while the coffin was in Xueying Territory due to the Black White Moon barrier, and by the time he could cast it, the Demon Clan had likely discovered the trace and transported the coffin back to the Demon God Association. Ye Mei sharply criticized him and the other elders for their failures. After a tense exchange, the focus shifted to locating the coffin and the association.
Ye Mei departed, sarcastically noting their primary concern seemed to be their own safety. Nearby, Ji Rong was setting up a demonic device when she was discovered by Bai Yuanzhi. Furious at her betrayal, Bai Yuanzhi tried to stop her but was ambushed and knocked unconscious. When DongBo Qingshi and Zong Ling arrived, Ji Rong lied, claiming Bai Yuanzhi had been injured by demons while protecting her. Believing her, Zong Ling sent for Sikong Yang to treat his injuries.
Desperate to avenge her family, Kong Youyue wanted to enter Xinhuo Palace but knew her cultivation was too low. DongBo Xueying took her to Sikong Yang, where they overheard him telling Chi Qiubai that his tracking spell last detected the bronze coffin near Lu's Fort. Kong Youyue burst in and pleaded to be sent to find the Demon God Association. Sikong Yang sternly dismissed her, threatening to disown her as a disciple if she revealed what she had heard.
Heartbroken, Kong Youyue argued with DongBo Xueying and Yu Jingqiu, feeling they couldn't understand her pain because their families were still alive. Despite their attempts to calm her, she left, determined to take matters into her own hands. That night, Kong Youyue used her own heart blood to lure out demons, mimicking a technique Wu Cang had used. To her horror, her demonized father and brother appeared, now mindless, monstrous beings.
Before they could attack her, Ye Mei arrived and swiftly killed them. Devastated, Kong Youyue lashed out, vowing to kill Ye Mei for murdering her family. Ye Mei retorted that without her intervention, Kong Youyue would have been torn to pieces and turned into a monster herself. DongBo Xueying took the grieving Kong Youyue away. Resolved to gain strength, Kong Youyue went to Bloodshed Tavern and asked to become Ye Mei's disciple.
Ye Mei agreed on one condition: she must kill the infamous Lengqiong Eight Eagles. Kong Youyue found the bandits, but hesitated when villagers, including the elderly and children, pleaded for their lives, calling the bandits their saviors. Upon returning, Ye Mei chastised Kong Youyue for her naivety, explaining that appearances are deceiving and that ignorant sympathy had led to many deaths at the hands of disguised demons in the past.
Disguising herself, Kong Youyue returned and overheard the Lengqiong Eight Eagles boasting about murdering their former leader and using the villagers as shields. Realizing their wickedness, she killed them all without hesitation. Reporting back to Ye Mei, Kong Youyue was given a second, shocking condition: kill Sikong Yang and bring back his arm.
Ye Mei claimed to have proof that Sikong Yang was a Demon Clan spy, alleging he was the one who gave the intelligence that led Hero Shan to his death in the Dark Abyss, and that the evidence was on his arm. DongBo Xueying and Yu Jingqiu refused to believe it but agreed to investigate. Under the pretense of seeking cultivation advice, the trio visited Sikong Yang.
Yu Jingqiu cooked a feast and used a potent wine she had developed as a child to get him drunk. Once he was asleep, she checked his arm but found no demonic mark, to her relief. Kong Youyue remained suspicious, arguing that demons were cunning and could hide such things. DongBo Xueying and Yu Jingqiu promised a thorough investigation, vowing to enact justice if he was truly a spy.
Kong Youyue agreed to stay at Water Daoist Temple to watch him. After they left, Sikong Yang awoke, and a demonic pattern slowly materialized on his arm. Elsewhere, a student endured grueling training, forced by his master to extinguish a field of magically relighting candles. The master preached that the heart must be faster than the mind, the mind faster than the feet, and the feet faster than sight. When the exhausted student begged for a break to eat, the master refused, locking him in until the training was complete.
