Oh! My Emperor Season 1 Episode 6 Recap
> Oh! My Emperor Season 1 Recap
Beitang Tang eagerly pressed Beitang Yi to attend the scheduled meeting with Luo Feifei, observing that she seemed to hold genuine affection for the Emperor and even jokingly offered to go in his stead. While Beitang Yi appeared nonchalant, he was clearly affected. As a maid helped Luo Feifei prepare, Beitang Tang advised her to be gentle with Beitang Yi, hinting that this was a new experience for the Emperor.
Amused, Luo Feifei remarked that his thoughts seemed to have gone awry. Beitang Tang continued to encourage his brother, urging him to relax and fulfill Luo Feifei's dream, especially since she had been helpful to him, but Beitang Yi eventually dismissed him. At the pool, Luo Feifei clasped Beitang Yi’s hand, repeatedly calling out "Jiacheng" and urging him to go home with her.
She even suggested a group shower with everyone present on the day they first met, including Prince Chen and Eunuch Hai. However, when she searched for a familiar scar on Beitang Yi's hand and found none, she suddenly realized he was not the "Jiacheng" she knew. Beitang Yi cautioned her against being too forward, even if she liked him. Enraged, Luo Feifei accused him of being a liar and demanded to be taken home.
Feeling betrayed, Luo Feifei stormed out of the palace. She returned to the inn where she had previously stayed, only to be confronted by the boss, who accused her of being a thief for not paying her past room charges. Luo Feifei attempted to explain it as a misunderstanding, claiming she had merely been on a tour. The boss, however, demanded payment, threatening to involve the authorities.
Luo Feifei, after giving the boss some unsolicited health advice, promised to return with the money and immediately set out to find employment. Her first attempt at an embroidery shop proved unsuccessful; the owner dismissed her work as slow and unsightly, comparing it unfavorably to that of a five-year-old child. As the day ended, Luo Feifei despaired about sleeping on the street when a woman named Yuanniang approached, praising her beauty and offering a job.
Luo Feifei eagerly accepted and followed Yuanniang to what turned out to be a bustling brothel. Initially fascinated by the performers, Luo Feifei soon realized the professional gap between them and herself and tried to leave. Yuanniang insisted she stay and brought her upstairs, where maids criticized Luo Feifei’s outdated attire and unrefined demeanor, emphasizing the need for professionalism in the competitive Donan City entertainment scene.
Yuanniang then tried to teach Luo Feifei proper courtesan behavior, but she proved to be an exceptionally clumsy student. A commotion erupted downstairs as a troublesome guest, a young master named Zhao, demanded the "most beautiful one" and threatened to wreck the establishment. Yuanniang, despite her frustration, instructed Luo Feifei to use the "tricks" she had just been taught. When Luo Feifei confronted Zhao, she slapped him repeatedly. Surprisingly, Zhao found this rough treatment pleasurable.
He then tried to pull her into a private room, but Luo Feifei produced a shocking device, incapacitating him. Upon learning of the incident, Yuanniang promptly expelled Luo Feifei from the brothel. Having gone an entire day without food, Luo Feifei was reduced to scrounging for scraps on the street, competing with a beggar and stray dogs. The following day, the city buzzed with anticipation for the Star Lord test.
Beitang Yi, accompanied by Beitang Tang and their entourage, left the palace and navigated through the crowded streets. Amidst the throng, Luo Feifei witnessed a group of people aggressively confronting an elderly Ophiuchus woman, accusing her of stealing beans. Luo Feifei intervened, checking on the old woman and condemning the bullies. A man in the crowd insisted the woman was a thief, claiming all Ophiuchus people were vicious. Luo Feifei appealed for compassion, but the crowd only grew more hostile.
As the old woman maintained her innocence, the accuser roughly grabbed her basket, spilling its contents and causing Luo Feifei, caught in the commotion, to lose her footing and nearly fall.
