The moon climbs the willow tips, a rendezvous at dusk. Zhang Xiaofan followed Tian Ling'er all the way, discovering she was secretly meeting Qi Hao by the Clear Water Pool. Zhang Xiaofan saw the intimate and happy appearance of the two, an indescribable feeling welled up in his heart as he watched Qi Hao and Tian Ling'er walk away hand in hand. Zhang Xiaofan could no longer control himself and walked to the edge of the pool.

Suddenly, the Clear Water Pool churned with swirls, and the Water Kirin burst out of the water, standing before Zhang Xiaofan. Zhang Xiaofan was so scared he panicked, his eyes wide and vacant, as he sat frozen on the ground, his staff also falling. The Water Kirin carefully sniffed the dark staff, found nothing suspicious, then leaped back into the water. Only then did Zhang Xiaofan pick up his staff and run back to his dwelling.

Inside Yuqing Hall, the peak masters of the Qingyun Sect gathered to discuss the Water Kirin's rage earlier that day. Opinions were divided. Reverend Dao Xuan used the Qingyun Sect's secret spiritual communication technique to converse with the Water Kirin, but it yielded no results as the Water Kirin was asleep.

However, Dao Xuan did have something to inform everyone: Xiao Yicai, who had infiltrated the Blood-Refining Faction for five years, although he had not fully investigated the truth of the Grass Temple Village massacre, had discovered that the Demonic Sect seemed to have found the whereabouts of the Heavenly Book, possibly hidden within the Black Heart Elder's treasure cave, the Ten Thousand Bat Cave. It turned out that the Heavenly Book was the Demonic Sect's guardian sect cultivation method.

Legend had it that whoever mastered all five volumes of the Heavenly Book could unite the Demonic Sect and become unrivaled in the world. Dao Xuan informed everyone that several months ago, he had received a secret report from Incense Valley, stating that the Ten Thousand Poison Sect and the Joyous Union Sect had begun their moves, targeting Mount Kongsang outside Yuducheng. Fortunately, Yuducheng had Zeng Shuchang's father-in-law overseeing it, so there were no major issues for the time being.

Dao Xuan had already sent a reply to Yun Yilan, the Valley Master of Incense Valley, stating that Incense Valley and Tianyin Temple would jointly dispatch disciples from their respective sects to thwart the demonic evildoers. As the leader of the righteous path, the Qingyun Sect planned to send the top four young disciples from the upcoming Seven Peak Martial Arts Tournament to Mount Kongsang.

The disciples below were eager to try their hand, and Zhang Xiaofan secretly vowed to work hard to bring glory to Dazhu Peak. The Seven Peak Martial Arts Tournament officially began. Tian Ling'er, wielding her Amber Red Silk, defeated a Chaoyang Peak disciple, earning rounds of applause from the audience. Only Shang Zhengliang, the peak master of Chaoyang Peak, was very disheartened.

It turned out that Zeng Shushu wanted to use treasures from the vault to trade for Zhang Xiaofan's Xiao Hui. At this moment, Zeng Shuchang and Daoist Cangsong placed the Qingyun Sect's supreme treasure, the Qiankun Nine Ritual Cauldron, on the altar in the Treasure Vault. As a precaution, Zeng Shuchang applied a restrictive spell. After Cangsong and Zeng Shuchang left, Zhang Xiaofan and Zeng Shushu looked at the Qiankun Nine Ritual Cauldron with great envy.

Just then, hearing a commotion outside, the two went out and saw a Fenghui Peak disciple severely injured by Lu Xueqi. Zeng Shushu repeatedly apologized to that disciple on Lu Xueqi's behalf. Zeng Shuchang discovered Zhang Xiaofan with Zeng Shushu, and invited Zhang Xiaofan, who shared a strong camaraderie with Zeng Shushu, to be a guest at his home.

Zhang Xiaofan told Zeng Shushu that he didn't have a goal like him, especially after Elder Nian's death, he felt even more lost. Zeng Shushu consoled Zhang Xiaofan, explaining that besides the Blood-Refining Faction, the Demonic Sect also included sects like the Ten Thousand Poison Sect, the Longevity Hall, the Joyous Union Faction, and the Ghost King Sect.

Among them, Bi Yao, whom he met at the Azure Fire Heavenly Ice Lake, was the daughter of the Ghost King Sect's Master. At this moment, Bi Yao was commemorating her mother, Xiao Chi. Before her eyes, the scene of herself and her mother being pursued by Elder Nian years ago seemed to reappear, and grief welled up in her heart. Bi Yao reported the news of killing Elder Nian and avenging her mother to her mother's spirit in heaven.

At the same time, she told her mother that she had found Lin Jingyu, the little boy who had given her steamed buns back then. Just then, the Ghost King walked over, having overheard all of Bi Yao's words.

He felt gratified that his daughter had avenged Xiao Chi and sought medicine to heal his injuries. However, the Ghost King believed the martial world was treacherous and fraught with unpredictable schemes. He decided to keep Bi Yao under house arrest on Mount Huqi, waiting for news from his mole embedded within the enemy ranks before dispatching Bi Yao on external missions according to the situation.

A black-clad figure, under the cover of night, broke into the Treasure Vault, triggering the restrictive spell applied by Zeng Shuchang. This alarmed Zeng Shushu and Zhang Xiaofan, and the black-clad figure had no choice but to flee in a hurry. While Zeng Shushu was chasing the black-clad figure, he encountered Lu Xueqi practicing her breathing techniques. The two returned to the Treasure Vault and fortunately found the Qiankun Nine Ritual Cauldron unharmed. Zeng Shuchang decided to report this matter to the Sect Master.
